Not powerful!
I bought this last spring and just had the opportunity to use it during a heavy snowfall. But to my disappointment the snowblower did not have the power to cut through snow. I literally had to use my body weight to push or reverse this machine. It absolutely has no torque. Unfortunately I sold my old Brute 257 cc to gather money to purchase this unit. Bad mistake! The much cheaper Brute outperformed the Cub Cadet in every way. I am very disappointed in this purchase and will not recommend.

I have had this unit for 5 years an absolute work horse goes through the heavy wet stuff no problem I also have the xt1 tractor and would recommend it also

Used 3 times, 2nd time in the shop, 4 pins later
I had a 30 year old MTD that I replaced with this garbage. Other than some tuning, never had issues. Never broke any pins (ever). First time I used it, didnt throw 10 feet. Dealer said snow was too heavy. 2nd storm, was stalling, dealer came to get it. Tried it when i got it back, as wind had pushed a little snow in my driveway. Broke 3 sheer pins. Next storm we had about 20 cms. I have fire coming out of the carb, and broke another pin within 10 feet.

Works great!
I bought this snowblower in 2019 and it works great. It’s takes a while to get used to the drive control on the right and the auger control on the left but we’re used to it now.

Bought this today. Very impressed. Zero effort involved. It’s heavy enough that it has the traction in needs to get through harder snow and not lacking power to blow. Might be higher priced than some but I would definitely recommend this one to anyone on the fence about spending more, it’s worth it.

Amazing machine!!
Excellent machine for doing my 6 car driveway, and cutting a racetrack in the back yard for my hyper Chihuahua. The municipality here go out of their way to really pile up the snow at the end of your driveway, but my 2X 30 HD devours even their iciest attempts to shut us in. Very handy having the extra shear pins in their own holders, though in over a year of owning it, I haven't needed to replace a pin yet. I haven't needed to undo the zap strap holding the clearing tool either as the 2X 30 HD feasts on anything in it's path. The LED headlights, and hand warmers are ideal for those early morning clearing jobs. Was thinking of getting chains, but so far the supplied tires have had amazing traction, so holding off on that for now. I truly love the steering mechanisms, it makes it so easy to maneuver through tighter areas. The crank control for the chute is a great touch, less cables to freeze up is greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone with a medium to large driveway, or overzealous plow operators, and definitely to do racetracks in the backyard for hyper dogs, they truly do love it.
