Constant Frustration
Bought a 3 stage cub cadet snowblower a few years ago and have had issues with it from day 1. The wheels have poor traction, it can't handle heavier snow, and recurring issues with the belt despite multiple replacements. Not to mention going through shear pins almost every time it's used.

3 stage hype not worth it
going on my second season with this 3X HD 28 and sorry I bought it. Does not do well at all in wet heavy snow. And the 3 stage is not efficient at all. It pushes the snow more than anything. Does not ingest and leaves a train of snow on both sides. Double the work.

Power to spare
Does not hesitate in wet heavy snow . Dealer had said 3 stage with push wet snow plow better than 2 stage he was right. I find this machine a work beast. Love it. 1 st winter with it.

Over all great machine
Works great, love the electric start which I didn't have on my last one, dual lights is great at night, lots of power, heated grips. I added chains for extra traction.

Absolute Piece of Junk
Unfortunately bought one of these 5 years ago & I’ve regretted every penny I spent as well as every second I’ve fought with this trash can. They’re nothing but a underpowered clogging hunk of scrap metal. Should of known what I was in for after using it twice the first year & hating it with a passion but then couldn’t start it the next winter. I had stored it with fresh gas & the proper amount of gas line antifreeze as opposed to running it dry and drying out the carb gaskets. Took it to the dealer for warranty repair but was unpleasantly surprised when I was told they changed the carburetor & it was not covered under warranty. Apparently they preferred the dried out gasket method of storage. I’m not mechanically inclined so I Paid the $ & took my pride and joy home. That was my second mistake as I should told them to both keep it & stick it!!!! This thing can’t seem to handle any amount of snow especially if it has any amount of moisture in it. Imagine snow having moisture! God forbid the plow goes by and leaves a pile of snow at the end of the driveway. This tin bucket can’t handle that so out comes the shovel. Imagine a $30 shovel being many times better than a $3000 snow blower. Who’d of thought! I turned 60 this year & bought this “thing” to hopefully avoid a heart attack from shovelling but my blood pressure goes sky high every single time I use this so called “snow blower”. I previously had a Craftsman 2 stage blower for over 15 years & I would love to have it back. It’s still going strong and actually clears snow. I will never buy another Cub Cadet product & will definitely not go back to that dealer. Folks please do yourself a big favour & stay clear of this snow blower. Not sure if the 3 stage technology is to blame or a bad company but choose anything but this bucket of bolts.
