Excellent hedger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this hedger to make trimming my hedges easier and yes it was I don't have to worry about a cord and being in the way it is lightweight and easy to use. The battery pack last longer than I expected and does not take long for it to charge up I would definitely be getting more battery-powered tools from Cub cadet.

Maneuvers easily, quiet and no cord. The trimmer goes through thicker branches like butter. Easy to grab, install the battery in seconds and start trimming. Quality product, highly recommended.

Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in awe of how fast I was able to trim/cut the bushes around my house; it took no time at all. The trimmer charges in about an hour and it was ready to go. It cut through the bushes like cutting through warm butter. Almost efferortlessly. Very user friendly. The only drawn back, is it is on the heavy side.

Pleasantly surprised!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed by the power of the trimmer. I have always been a fan of gas powered equipment, but this has exceeded my expectations! Charge the battery and I was trimming for 35 minutes and never had any power drop off. I have done this 3 times since I received the trimmer. The trimmer is well worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a week of use, it has proved to be quiet powerful and versatile. a little heavy but the freedom from a cord makes it all worth it. the battery life is around an hour. very good product, hand blade cover slips on and off easily but it is firmly attached when not in use. love this product.

Great Hedge Trimmer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new hedge trimmer! I was so excited when it arrived and I have never been that excited over a power tool before! Being my first time ever to use a hedge trimmer, it was very easy to use. In fact, I don't think it could be any easier than this one. I attached the battery to the charger and plugged it in to charge overnight. Then you just slide the battery into place, push the safety lock switch up and push the trigger switch to start. It easily cut through all of the branches of my shrubs. I was even able to easily cut off some thick branches with the powersaw end of the blade. It's definitely not as loud as a gas powered trimmer and the battery lasted for a while too. I took my time doing my shrubs and I enjoyed using this trimmer so much. After finishing my yard, I went to my neighbor's houses and did their bushes too, with their permission of course! I actually enjoy doing yard work now that I have this hedge trimmer!

Perfect for hedges

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a big ordeal each time I need to trim my hedges. I need to drive 15 minutes to my dad’s house. Pick up the electric hedge trimmer. Drive 15 minutes back to my house. Drag out extension cords. Find the nearest electric outlet to plug the electric hedge trimmer in. Unwind the extension cord. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Cub Cadet HT24E 24" battery powered hedge trimmer. I got this to replace my 18" electric one because I was tired of having to drag around a cord & having to replace the cords when I accidentally cut through them! At first I was hesitant because I thought it would be too heavy. As someone with neck, back & shoulder issues the weight can definitely be a problem for me. Thankfully, while it is a bit heavier than the electric, it was still very manageable for me to use! Definitely lighter than a gas powered one. It has the safety switch that you have to use to run the trimmer but it's very easy to use. I love the 24" blade over my old 18" one because I have one bush that is quite big & tall so it was hard to trim the top of it with the shorter blade. This one worked much better! The battery charged relatively quickly & after cutting 6-8 bushes in the front of my house, it only used about 1/4 of the battery power. I had a few more to finish but it took a couple weeks to get to it & when I checked the battery power it was still was holding at the same level it was when I last used it. This trimmer also has a great feature on the end. It has a small saw blade that you can use to cut through thicker branches (up to 1.5" I believe). This was a great feature because some of my bushes do have some thicker branches that the regular blades can't cut through. This trimmer also is relatively quiet. I normally wear ear protection when using tools like this but with this one I didn't need to. The only things I might consider changing is the protective sleeve that slides over the blade to protect it. It's a plastic sleeve & every time I slide it off, the saw blade on the end scrapes pieces of the plastic off. I can't see this lasting too long. The blue guide towards the end of the blade also tends to get caught on branches which can get annoying but other than that, I'm very happy with the performance of this trimmer & would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to ditch the electric or gas powered ones!
