Horrible, wheels fell off
I have the same problems as everyone else. How does an expensive machine have the wheels just fall off. Club cadet response was I would have to take to an authorized repair shop. Their attitude was oh well. In the mean time I have no way to clean my driveway. I only used four times, but since I bought it in September, I am passed the return policy.

I am deeply disappointed with this product..
I purchased this in good faith that is was the best.. it is far from it. I have used this unit 8 times at most... At first the tires fell out.. not off .. out with the shaft.. Then the cables to turning broke.. I took to get repaired and now the snow shoot does not work. I have tried.. several times.. for 3500.00 yes I paid that I expect a snow blower to at least work solid for a winter.. I have used this 8 times... At the moment it is a rock.. why ? I have tried

Fantastic Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously owned a 28", 2X HD which was an excellent machine. The 2X 30" PRO is in another league all together. I used it today in 7" of heavy snow with a good 1/0" of ice on top. The machine performed beyond expectations!

What a great (big) machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little surprised at how big this machine is and worried that I would not be able to control it without a lot of effort, but it is really a pleasure to operate. The turning levers are a great feature and make steering and turning around easy. It throws the snow all the way across my 18 foot wide driveway - into the wind - and beyond. It chews through the plow ridge at the road easily, although sometimes I do have to back up and take a second bite at it.
We get a lot of "lake effect" snow here in Western New York, and deep snow is not infrequent. A single storm can drop 24-36" over a day or two. So far I have used it to clear up to 12" snowfall in one go with no problem. What used to take me 2 hours or more and leave me sweating and sore I can now accomplish in 25 minutes or less without fatigue.
Assembly was straightforward. It came in a big box on a full-sized pallet.
I got the cab and drift cutters, which I will review separately, but will say here that the cab is great to have and keeps me out of the blowing snow.

A quarter way of the driveway.

Well satisfied.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third winter on this unit. My previous cub was getting quite old and we experienced a very severe winter in my part of the U.P. The old unit (28") was just incapable of handling the snow. No one had any snowblowers of any brand available. I finally found a place about 50 miles away which had three of the more expensive Cubs available, nothing else. I looked at them and chose a 30" max with a 420cc motor. I guess that model no longer has the larger motor. It nearly always starts on the first pull. The power is great when we have heavy wet snow. We live in the woods and when the snow covers up sticks, the pins sheer easily because the motor is so powerful. It is a fair tradeoff to have the power. I am well pleased with the unit. Yes, it is heavy, but when one hits the packed snow from plows that weight comes in handy. The only negative is that in reverse, it moves so slowly I frequently just haul it around instead of waiting. Glad I picked another Cub. On my second Cub lawn tractor now (first lasted about 13 years if I recall) and on my second snow blower. Old blower still worked so I sold it.

I used this very hard
I think this is my 4th year with this unit. I’m 170 5.7 with back problems and can manage this unit…it’s big. My driveway is 250 feet long and I’m off the main drag snow big snow banks at the end of my driveway. I just finally broke a shear pin or just noticed. This was very hard to take out. I ended up drilling it out and using a litch pin instead. I may switch them all out to this to avoid this. My driveway is gravel so if you have this keep the blades turning because if you stop it and a rock is in there it could jam. Imo in the wet snow it’s not the greatest but if this is belt driven(I don’t know) maybe my belt is warn out. I do feel it’s not shooting snow as far right now . I also use this to clear my dog pen which is 100x70’fenced off area and the snow gets very high. Any drag issues just raise the sliders to proper heights.

Fell apart after 5 minutes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit fell apart (right axle) after 5 minutes, took to dealer for repairs. After repairs we used it for about 15 minutes and the unit fell apart again (both left and right axles) took it back to dealer for repairs and parts were ordered. Picked the unit up but we’ve not had anymore snow. I want to say the dealer was great, they tried to get me up and running quickly.

Great Design

Starts very easily and runs smooth. Looking forward to really putting it to work. Heated grips work much better than I thought they would. Also surprisingly easy to maneuver for such a large blower.

I bought a year an half ago it is hard to shift have to fight with it I had a snow blower for 18 years never a problem I have used about 10 time not satisfied
