A Necessary Force
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife Diane is the lawn cutter in our family. She has had a John Deere, and more recently a Toro, both regular riding mowers. 3 years ago, we purchased and moved into a home with just over an acre of diverse areas and different grades to mow. The Toro was at the shop more frequently than on our lawn. I forced the ZT1 46 onto Diane, although she was hesitant at first, she has come around and is now moving, forward, backwards, spinning around trees, she previously had to re-adjust her angle of attack on. Happy wife, happy life. Thanks for the great buying experience, and thanks for making my life, and especially Diane's life, much easier.

First time with a zero turn
I purchased this machine 5-30-2022 and my first try was very disappointing. Much louder than a similar cut lawn tractor, but I will wear ear muffs, and I can pretty much live with my decision other than the rear tires. If I can get a flat set of tires with more grip than these rounded version it will be going back. Please say there is a flat tire alternative as this machine dug up two sections and made a mess. First time in 20 years getting stuck on my property. Please help.

Excellent mower
I've used a pro level zero turn in the past but when I bought my property I went with a lower end lawn tractor thinking it was good enough. I missed the zero turn the whole time. My lawn tractor needed replacing and I got a cub cadet zt46 about a month ago. So far I really like it. Lots of power. The deck adjustment is super easy. I dripped the tire pressure down to about 5psi for maximum traction and it works great. Cuts super even too. No regrets.

Great mower but heavy on the lawn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower in 2022 as a switch to zero turn. Mows really well but during winter I noticed more pronounced tyre marks through the lawn (my half acre tends to hold moisture) so I checked the weight of the mower and was surprised at how heavy it is compared to other makes/ models. If you have a lawn that is a bit sodden during winter I suggest taking the weight into consideration.

Great looking, quality mower that has exceeded my expectations. Love the design. Its easy to handle and cuts quickly and evenly. My cutting time is about half what it used to be. I of course asked the salesman if he's had any negative feedback and he stated he has sold over 300 of these and not a single call back or complaint only positive feedback. I can see why. Great job by the design team.

Well built mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just purchased my ZT1 and have about 20 hours on it and it is and awesome mower-could not ask for more! I am disabled and the lap controls work out very well for me! I would give it ten stars or more! I also have a 2018 XT-2 that is awesome as well! Both have plenty of power to get the job done! The best part is my lawn looks like a golf course green! I am very happy with both of these! I just wish the Cub Cadet website was more correct with information.

Well Built Mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work at a hardware store in north Georgia, we sell Cub Cadet, Husqvarna and Troy Bilt. I do the final assembly on the units before the hit the floor. I can tell you without a doubt...the construction of the Cub Cadet is by far more rugged than the Husqvarna or Troy Bilt. I bought a Husqvarna 46inch Zero Turn last fall, I was so impressed with the Cub Cadet that I sold my Husqvarna with 11 hours on it and purchased a 46inch ZT1. Way better unit.

Love cutting grass now!
