This 46 inch Heavy Duty Steel Snow Blade is strong enough to clear large snow filled areas in no time at all. The quick-change angle, adjusts the snow blade from straight ahead to 25° to the left or right. The adjustable skid shoes allow you to use this snow blade in a variety of conditions, even gravel driveways. The spring-loaded blade return protects your tractor and the blade from damage.
- Fits all Troy-Bilt, Bolens, Yard Machines, Huskee and MTD Gold riding Mowers, 2001 and newer

Questionable QC
1. They shouldn’t sell this without including chains.
2. The metal fabrication “punch” for one of the holes used for assembly failed. This should have been caught in QA.
It’s frustrating that you don’t allow returns after use and simultaneously have QC issues.

I bought my blade 46"2 years ago and worked fine this year everything's falling apart I'm just worn out Very cheaply built I called that for my cables I want 90 bucks for 2 cables That's a rip off

A great (and necessary for northern climes) add
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sturdy blade shipped very fast, without any incident. The instructions were detailed and it fit perfectly on my XT2 Enduro Series Cub Cadet riding mower. The adjustable blade works well, and it does a great job of clearing any size snow drift or piles of rock. I do recommend you get the tire chains, though, if you plan to use it in the winter months for snow removal. Also, it does take some adjustment to get the spring suspension to the right tension - but once it's dialed in, it works perfectly.

Great adjustable snow blade
I’ve owned this snow blade for 3 years and I’m impressed. This is a solid, well designed blade. My favorite part is the ability to change the blade angle while seated. The quick attachment works good, allowing me to put the blade on or off of my Cub Cadet XT2 in about 5 minutes. We get a lot of snow falls in the 3 - 6” range which fits this blade and tractor combination perfectly. The first year I used it, I would have somewhat frequent traction issues, then I got tire chains and it feels unstoppable. The chains due occasionally leave scratches on the drive if the tires spin though.
The only issues I’ve had are some cable stretching beyond what the threaded adjusters can handle, and this year the bolts that adjust the blade height have worn down to uselessness (this is a wear item that I need to replace.)
I consider this strictly a snow blade, but it could do some dirt or rock work if it was loose.
Overall I am very satisfied with the quality and functionality of this blade, and highly recommend it.

So far so good.

It works for what I need to do
I am on my 4th winter with this plow and it has worked great. ground engaging attachments take a lot of abuse and this things has held up great for what I ask of it.

Great product
Overall, great product. Running this with chains and a suitcase weight kit. I would not use it without these. Build quality is good. However the fasteners are cheap. The 3 of the 4 hex nuts stripped. I was not using much force. And the pins that hold the main pinion attachment to the plow only lasted about 1 hour. Easy fix, but they are really cheap pins. Overall, definitely recommend. I'm plowing 2 feet of snow with no issued.

Waiting to be the envie of the neighbors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the blade fairly quick, feels sturdy. Haven't gotten a decent snow storm the try it out. Instructon manual is vague and confusing.
Issues are one of welds on the blade was to high and had to ground down, had to file inside three holes so the pin would go through and squeeze the bracket so it would fit the tractor.
Cant wait for for a decent snow storm to try it out.

Just the tool I needed and at a good price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product and a very good price. Shipped quickly. Only negative was that the packaging was not adequate to survive handle in shipping. The bag with all the small parts was torn open and empty, with some washers, bolts and nuts falling out out of the box and missing. They did try to replace them but only the washers they sent were correct.

Not bad, not excellent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not too hard to put together but probably more ideal for a paved drive than gravel, since there is no option to set the plow to a particular height, it’s only all the way down on the skid plates or raised for non-use. We haven’t gotten a heavy snow yet to test it, but I have high hopes!

Good plow for snow

Room for improvement
It seems like a nice plow . However the lift handle could stand to be about a foot longer . Or give a third piece or make one available for the option of a longer handle . Also wish the option was there to add the blade tilt from the handle .

Snow Blade
Great little snow plow. Comes with everything needed. The only issue I had after using it a couple times was the rubber handle cover slides off. Easy fix with some tape, just wrap it like a hockey stick and it stays on.

Not so happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know if the engineering team actually tried to use this attachment. I believe the dilemma is that this product is designed to fit several models. you cannot change the angle of blade without getting off tractor and when the blade is lowered you cannot retrieve the handle without leaving the seat and shutting off engine. The materials are quite thin and seem to be a bit flimsy. I have an older Cub model that is probably 20 years old or better with a snow blade attachment the blade is 3x as thick and was able to be raised with the mover deck linkage and the handle was used to change the angle. I had bought my new lawn tractor based on the durability of that machine. The reason I replaced it was damage to the mower deck and the parts are no longer manufactured to repair it properly. I am very pleased with the tractor itself and based on that I did not question the quality of the snow blade attachment which I had only seen on the web site. One of the reasons was that this was a OEM product. I do not believe that this product holds a candle to the proud name of Cub products, maybe that's what happens when conglomerates take over a name.
