Mulching kit for cub cadet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite dissatisfied with the amount of grass left in clumps on my yard. Not sure if id be better off leaving the original blades on. I love the cub cadet mower, but very disappointed in the mulching kit.

No more bagging for me!

Mulch cover fits, blades dont.
zt1-50 2019. The plastic mulch cover fits the fabricated deck. The blades did not fit. The new blades have the "S"-type mounting hole, my mower has the 6-point star. I wish I could exchange these for 6-point 50in mulching blades for my 2019 zt1-50!

Doesn't cut well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this now for 2 cuts and takes me longer to finish the job because it leaves sections uncut which I have to do a second pass. I have removed it and put the original blades back on.

Works great. Does a great job mulching.

Mulching Blades
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven’t really had a chance to put them to use, but fit and quality are great. It was a little hard getting the cover on because it’s a nice tight fit but once on it fits very snug.

Mulch Kit for 50" deck
Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to modify the guard by removing some of the plastic flashing that fits up against the deck in order for it to fit properly. Seems like a flaw in the mold while making the mulch guard.

Must have attachment
This attachment prevents alot of the shoot out. I was using the mower withouth the attachment and I had a lot of debris shooting back and hitting me on as well as the side shute. The blades were easy to switch out.

Exactly What I Needed

Quick order, quick install, and working
Blades were similar to original machine’s blades so I left the original ones on and added the plug which was very easy to install and off I went mulching. Very impressed with the mulching kit.

Cub Cadet Mulching Kit Really Works
I have only used the mulching kit one time so I am still getting used to it. It still left some piles of tillage but not nearly as much as the regular blades for cutting grass.

Works on ZT2 - Blades are each several pounds lighter than the OE. The mulch kit causes you to slow down to a crawl when cutting long grass. The fit of everything is good.
