Bold stripes even with weedy lawn
I bought this about a month ago. I have a very weedy lawn and wanted more then the tire stripes. Installed this and it works amazing! I will say be sure to put the deck on the typical cutting height and then install the brackets as low as possible without them hitting the ground. The rollers don't need to make full contact with the ground and I still get defined striping. My lawn is about 65% weeds (I'm working on fixing that) and I still get very noticeable striping. I'm not sure the condition for the other reviews but this has been a phenomenal purchase especially vs some other striping kits out there going for a couple hundred dollars. This is worth every penny in my book. This is my yard and again its currently about 65% weeds!

Does not work well unless cutting less than 2 inch
I had my suspicions about this product before I purchased it and I really wanted this to work but, sadly, it does not do the job. The first trouble occurred with the installation because the holes in the deck were not drilled according to what the striping kit was made for so we had to send it to the dealer to get new holes drilled into the deck. Now it's installed but, trouble is, it doesn't ride low enough so as to contact the grass. Unless you're cutting at 2 inch height or less, this thing will not make enough contact to stripe the lawn.I'm going to start looking for a different kit.

Works amazing
Bought this in a package deal for with my zt1. Don’t follow directions, instead go to the next bolt holes down. It will then make contact with the grass and leave awesome stripes in your yard.

Extremely Disappointed Cub Cadet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well first off, I ordered this item on April 20th and did not receive it until June 23rd. I have no idea why it could possibly take that long to get to me. So after waiting two months for it, was super excited when I seen it by my door when I got home from work. Well excitement was completely gone after I got it installed and cut my yard. ZERO difference in yard appeal. I've tried at 2"/3"/4" heights and none of them looked any better than what it looked like before installed. Only positive thing about this was the installation was incredibly easy, which means it will be easy to get back off and throw in the trash. I've always been a Cub Cadet purchaser, but this whole experience has got me looking at other options.

Doesn’t work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great idea and poor execution.This might work if you’re cutting weeds on the lowest setting. My ZT2 50” is set at 3.75”s for my Bermuda grass. You can see the tire marks and zero from the striping kit. I even put the mounts on the lowest bolt setting. There is also 5-6” gap between one side of one of the tires.

Must have to complete the vibe
I'm going to be honest. The bolts are a pain in the butt to get started. The deck is pre punched with the holes but then they were painted. The bolts that come with the kit are flat nosed and kind of cheap. It makes for a very difficult time to get them started. The overall concept of the install is very easy and other than getting the bolts started in the holes there is nothing complicated. I wish the roller set a little lower in relation to the blades because I don't think the striping effect is very strong due to the height of the roller. Having said all of this, if you don't put a striping kit and mulching kit on your zero turn, are you even a real suburb dad? You probably don't even grill.

Bought and installed, doesn't work at all you have better strips from the rear wheels than you do the $112 kit will be taking off and sending it back save your money... Junk, worthless.
