Regarding assembly, clogging, and rail attachment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was a bit more involved than what I believed it would be based on the reviews I read. I have dumped the bags ~25 times and the chute clogged only once. (Although it was difficult to clear the one time it clogged) Several reviews expressed dissatisfaction with the bags that "clip" onto the rails. I presume Cub Cadet modified the bags because my bags lay on top of the rails (3 of the 4 sides), have no clips, and seems to be sturdy.

Very cheaply made
All the plastic on this set up breaks very easily. 1st mow the plastic tabs on the hood broke. Now after just a season of use the entire hood is broken. I’m hoping I can just buy the hood as opposed to buying the complete set up

Horrible design
Only buy this if you are cutting 1/4 of an inch of grass at the most, if you take even a little bit more than 1/4 the shoot cloggs up and it is a real pain to clear it. I will never be buying a cub cadet bagger again.

Purchased this last year. One season and the plastic clips that hold the lid in place snapped. Do not believe any 5 star review. This product is a disgrace. Everything about it screams cheap plastic garbage!

This bagger does a wonderful job.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite easy to put together but wow, the box weighed 120 lbs and approx 1/2 were the counter weights for the front of the mower. What I particularly like is how easy it is to disconnect the feeder and hose if I don't want to pick up the clippings. I have part of my yard I want looking manicured and the other can be not as manicured :) The only negative would be the catch to open the bagger is flimsy and a little tricky to open at times.

Works as intended.

Cheap bagger
I bought the ZT and bagger. Mower gets 5 stars; Bagger gets 1 star. It's all plastic, and the plastic has broken in three places. Cub Cadet should be ashamed of themselves!

Getting Ready to Replace the Lid for the 3rd Time
The clips that hold the lid to the frame have broken again. The clips that hold the lid shut have both broken. The gasket keeps falling off. Bungee Cords and Zip Ties have kept me going, but it’s to the point that I need to replace the lid. On top of everything, I can’t seem to find the correct lid. Mine is a 3 piece lid assembly. I only see one piece assembly on this site. Hesitant to order because I am not sure it is the correct one.

Not Worth The Money
My wife bought me the bagger as a surprise and to keep me from having to rake after every cut. Assembly wasn't an issue and besides the fact it widens your machine by several inches and you have to remember the bagger is there when backing up, it looks great. The issue to me that doesn't make it worth the money is the clogging. Unless your grass is bone dry, and I me BONE DRY, you are going to end up with a clog. Not only will you end up with a clog in the tube, it is a PAIN to get it unclogged. The way it is designed you have to reach down the tube once you disconnect from the bags and scoop the grass out by hand or unscrew the wingnut and take off the whole tube. Then you find out the whole deck underneath is also completely clogged up and you have to get on your hands and knees and dig and clog out by hand. This will happen over and over again as you mow your lawn. Also, the dual bags are so small, they fill so quickly that even when you don't clog you are constantly emptying the bags. It has gotten to the point where I stopped using the bag option on my Cadet and purchased a cheap walk behind with a bagger. I now mow my lawn with my cadet or mulch my leaves, then go and run my walk behind with bagger to collect the clippings which does the job 20 times better at a fraction of the price of the bagger add-on. Don't waste your money! Mower is great...very disappointed in the bagger performance especially at the price point.

Good so far
I was hesitant to spend so much on this bagger after some of the reviews, but here is my opinion so far. Installation was pretty simple, especially if you watch the official Youtube video for it. I just bought this in January here in Florida and my grass in not that high but we have a lot of oak and hickory leaves. This thing sucked all them up, it looked like I took a shop vac to the yard. The good- it works perfectly so far. The bad- the only negatives so far to me is first the price, and second, opening and shutting the top, you have to kinda of fight it a little to get it open, the little clasp on the right and the hook in the center make it a little aggravating, but it would not stop me from buying it again, because I like to be open to suck up leaves which it did great. Once the grass starts growing I will return to follow up on how it works for my grass pickup.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! Clogs all the time. POOR DESIGN!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn’t work well AF all. Clogs up in the tube making me have to turn off the mower to reach down the tube where the blade is. Due to clogging consistently, it doesn’t pick up and goes on the ground. Poor design.

Love hate relationship....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the bagger and it works very well. However, the latch, for lack of better description, that holds the lid closed broke off on day 1! Bungie chord has replaced it.
Also, the lid is 100% plastic, albeit thick. So i reinforced it with aluminium plates along the edged where it secures.

Nice bagger. I read lots of reviews before purchasing this. Several of them were negative. Im not sure why because i have had no issues with this product. I have mowed in all types of grass,even wet an it has never plugged up. This was fairly easy to install and the discharge tube is easy to remove if you want to mow without bagging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once assembled, it works well. Instructions for assembly are not for dummies (ahem). Bags fill unevenly. I have to trust that once far bag fills, the far bag will start to empty into near bag. I appreciate the counterbalance weights and how they assemble to the mower without drilling.

I was dirty upon mowing. Did not have that problem on other brand mower. I love my zt1 50 however the quality of the bagger is not the same standard.

Great bagger!

Disappointing
There are too many poor reviews for this product. We bought the Zt154 and would like to buy the bagger. We love the mower but don’t feel confident that the bagger is worth the headaches that we have seen in the reviews.
