An actual review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here's an actual review. Not one of those "I just got it, love it" reviews. I purchased the XT1-54 GT back in in 2019. I have 471 hours on it. Been mowing roughly 3-1/2 acres. No major repairs. Just usual maintenance. Regular oil changes, air filter, etc. My only complaint is the deck clogs up. Mowing field grass, I guess you'll have that. I'm finally stepping up to a zero turn, but will keep this tractor for around the house. Probably add a bagger. No regrets on this purchase.

Initially impressed but too early to tell

Fast moving tractor. Comfortable and seems powerful although I haven't really had enough time to put that to the test. The K58 transmission makes a big difference over the K46
Cons:
Some of the components are more difficult to access (for example the solenoid), which makes repairs more difficult. The hood gets hung up on the mufller guard when I open it. I don't like that it didn't come equipped with the hour meter, which needed to be purchased separately. That seems like a cheap cost savings attempt.

Outstanding Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cadet XT1 ST54 is a beast. Easily mows my 3 plus acres. Operates smoothly, surprisingly quiet, steers easily and cuts evenly. What else could you want? The 54” deck makes short work on large areas. This is my third Cadet and definitely the nicest to date.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't look at the engine when I picked it up today. It does not have the engine listed here on the spec sheet it's the smaller engine the kt740. There is a disclaimer about them changing the specs at the end of the spec sheet.Wonder if I got the k58 transmission or not. Trying to figure that out now.
