Great Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a number years and all I can say it is great! For a small engine, it has tons of power. It can cut through really thick tall grass without any issues. It fits nicely in tight areas, in between various landscape obstacles, and I can even put it in the back of my compact size pickup truck Chevrolet colorado. This is truly a great faithful machine and I highly recommend it for those who want a smaller size riding mower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the CC30 riding lawn mower for a while now and overall I’m very happy with it. If you’re looking for something that’s small, easy to maneuver, and still saves you time compared to a push mower, this thing gets the job done.

Absolute Garbage!
Unless you have a billiard table smooth lawn, this machine is not for you. It gets stuck on the slightest of inclines - any dips, forget about it - one wheel will just spin away.
The mulch guard doesn't really fit right, so you're constantly adjusting it so the safety switch will engage to let you start it up.
The shifter drive/reverse selector is in the worst possible place, and the override to be able to backup is maddeningly frustrating- always turning off.
On top of all this, the clutch lasted two seasons, now it's slipping an squealing like a pig on the slightest of inclines.
It would be more satisfying to burn $2500 than to deal with this mower anymore. Once I get the clutch fixed I'm going to sell it or drive it off a cliff after lighting it on fire... But, it will probably get stuck on the way to the cliff and just burn there, making another chore for me to deal with.

Bad Choice to buy
Because I got the mower direct from the manufacture. I could not get support for helping with the parking brake . When put in park it will not stop the mower from moving. When I contacted repair company's they said I had to get the mower to there shop for any warrant work. Or needed to pay to get it there .I should have got it from a dealer instead. Then it would have been right when I got it.

Best mower for my yard.

Bought direct and I'm happy with the quality. I added the twin bagger and recently the oil drain hose. YOU NEED THIS! I enjoy working on my rider and save money doing basics. I would buy it again.

Electrical issue with the charging system.
There is no voltage regulator on the B&S engine configuration selected by the Cub Cadet engineering team causing electrical issues (smoking/burning of certain components) and battery overcharging (making it die after 1 year) if the tractor is used too often or for too long period.

Problème alternateur
Un défaut de conception du modèle est que l’alternateur charge trop (jusqu’à 16.5 volts)et il brûle les batteries. Aucun système pour réduire le voltage de l’alternateur. Premier été attendre un mois et demi pour une nouvelle batterie. Deuxième été en attente depuis un mois et demi pour récupérer notre tracteur sans savoir si tout sera ok.

Mower is good on flat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower is good on flat yards. Any type of incline and it will not go up. It sits there and squeals. I have put it into a lower gear. It does not like thick grass or tall weeds. I have to go over areas twice.

It’s not bad
The assembly and creating is great instructions are fairly straightforward. The thing I did not like is the fact that you had the battery caps on the wrong post. The positive was on the negative and the negative was on the positive that tends to cause problems. That’s the way I receive mine. The only complaint I really have is that it really takes a lot of effort to use the brakes and to put it into park. Other than that it seems to be a pretty good mower. I’ve used it three times now once I was able to get it started and that took a little bit for me to get started. Because of the way the battery connections were, and it was hard to see, which was which that’s how I pulled the battery out and actually looked. I think it locked up the starter, but once I got the battery connected properly in a little few tabs on the starter, I freed it up and then started up with no problem for a minute there I thought a brand new mower. I was gonna have to take it there for service, which had no way to get it there, but for the most part it is not a bad more. It does the job very well just the cutting down fairly quick. I like the fact that you can returning the key and pushing the button. Keep the blades running it to reverse that save some time of having to stop the blades from turning and then backing up I like the deck wash system on it that helps tremendously about the cover. I would recommend getting a cover for it at least get an oil maintenance kit, get a blade tool. As one day, you will have to change it unless you have someone do the work for you take the time and really read your manual. That is really important to understanding.
