Love my cub cadet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it. Had to get used to it. Turn radius and all but well worth the $. I’ve used it a few times and it’s getting easier to use and it gets the job done in half the time it did before. Looking to see if I can get the snow removal plow to go with it now for the winter.

Nice mower… but PTO seal leaked

However after only using the mower a handful of times the PTO seal let loose. I took the mower to a local shop and cub cadet covered the repairs. Just got it back and it is running great so far…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower is probably great if you have a flat yard but I have a few uneven spots and my backyard is sloped. This thing leaves a very uneven cut on any not flat surface. It also gets stuck and I have to back up in a few spots.

Mow in reverse option means I never have to stop until finished.

Nice little mower

Perfect for small/medium yard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fifth year with this mower, and no maintenance issues yet other than a battery, which is only moderately disappointing considering its age. It's very maneuverable, almost like driving a go-kart, and does a good job mulching with good-looking results. My only complaint is that it occasionally gets 'hung up' with one rear wheel spinning uselessly, either a suspension system or limited-slip axle could make this a near-perfect mower.

Super little mower
This is an amazing little mower. Cuts nice and fits in the garage great. Very maneuverable and great for cutting close. The only negative thing I can say is changing the oil is miserable. They give you a little scoop but it doesn't work and oil goes everywhere. Solved this problem by buying an oil drain extended hose and no more worries. Briggs part number 1723165SM. A neighbor would like to buy one but they can't be purchased anywhere, supply issues I'm told.... cheers

Good Little Mower
I just did my first cut on my very first ride around lawn mower. I am pleased, so far. My lawn looks great. This size mower is what I was looking for and it tackled my slight incline in my yard, just fine. My only knock is a few nuts (for the steering column and seat) were missing when I went to assemble and I had to go buy a few. I'm looking forward to the next cut. Since this is just the first cut, I cannot give an Excellent rating.

I purchased this mower 2 years ago, changed the oil and filter every year , greased the front wheels since there is no other zirk fittings, greased the steering rack by hand , the only 2 concerns I have is the reverse lock out stopped and the steering binds on full lock to lock, I called weingards where we purchased the mower and they said it was normal , I did not call cub cadet about these issues, still it’s a good mower tractor

It seems like Cuc Cadet thought of everything. I like the way the bag empties. The only complaint I can think of is the fact that you have to disengage the blade to move in reverse and I am concerned that it putting unnecessary wear on the belt

I do wish the seat slid like the other mowers. You have to unscrew a nob to move the seat back and forth. Also don’t know how long the foam around the steering column will last. It should probably be plastic or metal.

Great machine for a great price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An excellent machine that I would definitely purchase again. Runs great, easy to operate, solidly built, great price, and does a good job. The only negatives are two: I wish it had a tighter turn radius, and I wish you could keep the blade engaged while driving in reverse. But those are minor complaints.

Engine problems
I bought new 3 years ago, it ran fine the first year but has been in the shop more than I mowed with it the last 2 years. The latest problem is the idle & engine surging which they cannot find the reason why. Very disappointed because I have had previous Cub Cadets with no issues at all. I would not recommend.
