Mt second Cub Cadet tractor

Big Disappointment!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mom purchased this mower this spring to handle her 5+ acre yard and was told it could handle mowing a pasture, lol. The first time trying to start it after it was delivered the battery said it was dead. We charged it and began mowing. Then within the 1st hour the belt came off, so we put it back on. 5 months later and we are still having these same problems. The dealer found there was a short in the battery cable, that was repaired. After the 2nd time the dealer has picked it up and returned it, the engine is now sputtering when starting, this is a new issue. It says it needs a new air filter (ordered) and oil is low. Oil will be added, but the oil was just changed and more oil was just added less than 10 hours ago. The belt has came off 3 times. The mower sporadically will not start, the blades are awful little bity things (apparently the upgraded blades aren't much better!). There were more heavy duty blades added, but they are beat up after 10 hours on them. Cub Cadet will not refund a machine after gas and oil has been added (we asked for a refund within the first month). The dealer has picked up the mower 2 times. I am not sure if we purchased a lemon or if these are normal issues for a $4,000 mower. Very disappointed in this mower! My sister and her husband have a smaller cub cadet for their 1/2 acre yard and love it. For bigger yards, hills, rocks or sticks that could possibly get picked up, I would discourage anyone from purchasing this mower! Cub Cadet has been contacted, but they apparently only want you to work with the dealer.

Powerful mower

Poor cut quality
I purchased about a year ago. My second Cub Cadet with a 54 inch deck. This deck has three blades powered by a surpentine belt drive system. I mow a level surface - about 1.75 acres. The cut leaves about a 1 inch UNCUT space where the blades intersect. Service dealer has replaced 2 sets of blades and has leveled deck - still leaves an uncut swath.

Save your money buy something else!
Purchased this mower March of 2022. To say the least I’m not impressed with it. I iI Not sure why they quit using Kawasaki engines in the these. I ended up with the Kohler which isn’t the quality it used to be. Blades are very thin and wear out quickly. The deck clogs very easily no matter the blade type you use. For the money not a very well built machine. Purchased in March of 2022

It’s hard to find a sleeve hitch for this mower. It’s unclear if it’s a lawn tractor or garden tractor. It has some features of a garden tractor and some of a lawn tractor. Which on is it or is it an in between model? Also if there a sleeve hitch and loader (Johnny bucket) for the equipment?

Save your money!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Junk! This is the tractor my wife uses, she is all of 5' and 110lbs and just after three years the weld that holds the seat to the deck cracks, and it's not covered!
