Purchased in early Dec. All features worked for me
I have a 100’ double driveway and I was able to clear all in about 15min. I never took out a shear pin all winter with over a foot of snow plus the big ridge left by the snow plow at the road. Lots of power and really throws the snow. Great machine.

starts great, all works well, reverse sucks
just received this a gift for Christmas. Powder snow works great, Heavy wet snow, really bad. Really disappointed with the [2] reverse gears. wont back up in either [1] or [2] have to pull the machine back by hand. barley moves in reverse.

Amazing Value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second winter and it has been a great machine. I have broke two shear pins, due to user hitting fallen branches that were buried in the snow. No fault of the machine it did what it was suppose to do. We have had heavy wet snow and very light powder that packed with high winds, the machine just loads up and eats and throws the snow. Using premium gas with no ethanol I had zero issues starting or running while being worked hard. My driveway is 150' long butting up to a county road, even with a foot of snow and high winds I can clear the drive in an hour. Machine performs like a champ I highly recommend it. I see no reason to upgrade to a track drive, just add tire chains and the machine becomes a beast. Hand warmers could be better, well the switch for them is in a horrible position and easy to turned off when working, nothing a piece of duct tape cant't solve to keep from being turned off accidently. All in all the only flaw is the placement of the hand warmer switch. Highly recommend

Worst design ever
I bought this worthless piece of junk about 3 season ago installed a impeller kit and it still clogs and breaks shear pins every storm that is remotely heavy snow do not spend your money on this machine.

Do Not Buy
Bought a 30" 2 stage 15 yrs ago. No issues. Still works, but tired. 5stars
5 yrs ago bought a 3 stage 30". From start shredded belts and pins. In the local New Liskeard (lousy) dealer for 3 yrs at least 2x a yr. Constantly losing power to auger and wheels. Dealer did some sort of manf agreed repair in first yr. Never did work. Was back and forth for 3 yr warranty period. Never solved. In 4th yr the dealer started charging and would not accept that there was a design issue. Last time it was serviced I brought back from dealer (50 min drive ea way), took off trailer, fired up and the belts slipped. I put away and used my back up 24" Ariens. This yr bought a 32 " Ariens and am selling both Cadets thru local consignment.
I see this as a dealer issue with no support from manf. I live in an area where the next closest dealer is over 2 hrs away. We also get a serious winter here. The 24” Arien never balked and did the job well. Only issue I had was I wanted 30” to limit number of times up and down drive. Do a search and you will find these machines go thru belts constantly. No amount of careful wording from the moderator on this site will change how I feel…..I will never buy a Cub Cadet product again.
And why must I tell you my age and sex to post a review!?
and finally, I don't believe you could have made it any harder to submit this review if you tried. I'm almost as steamed as the last time I took the blower off the trailer. Well done Cub Cadet.
