[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought mine last year first cut of the season. XT1 LT46 I Traded my 84 Simplicity for my first new rider. I After doing what I thought was good homework.Wrong. This s a nice unit. Same a the Craftsmen 46" If you price shopping. One thing I overlooked was the deck. My old 44"had 3 blades and this 46" only has 2 blades. Believe me t makes a difference. Also My old 16 hp was easier on gas over than this 22hp. It Drinks a whole tank VS the 16 I could get 2 to 3 cuts with.

Who’ll stop the rain; Cub Cadet

Cub Cadet w/All-Season Plow Blade and Mulch kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cub cadet is great…easy to get around the yard. The mulch kit does well cutting up the grass and fallen leaves. Almost can’t wait to use the plow for snow removal.

Disappointed
2 mows and 4.5 hours in during dry conditions and very underwhelmed by performance. It is a very bouncy ride, which caused the mower deck to drop out of position multiple times. Traction on inclines is not good leaving only one wheel spinning. Motor shut off unexpectedly several times. Getting stuck on hills and unexpected loss of power doesn't make the operating experience feel very safe or in control. Seat is comfortable, but not enough to overcome the bounce. Ejection of cut grass is messy, more of a radial spray than directional discharge.

Dealer experience subpar. Overall great machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Runs great and takes care of the grass amazingly. Was expecting it to have a Kohler engine like specified online, but it had a Kawasaki engine. Also displeased with the quality in which the dealer put together the machine. The hood wasn’t even on straight so it doesn’t close like it should which was pretty disappointing.

Great, when it runs
I bought this mower two years ago and had to replace the battery 3 times on it. This time after only 2 weeks and it’s not starting again with a Battery fault. Now I am heated and sitting in my yard simmering before towing it or jumping the battery.
When it runs it’s fine. The attachments and everything work well just pricey. With the prices and this battery issue I really DO NOT recommend this product or company.

Great lawn tractor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned my XT1 LT46 for 6 years now and while the design is slightly different, the tractor remains the same. The Kohler engine has been rock solid and the machine proves its value in our yard every year, flawlessly. Minor maintenance has been performed as expected and some replacement of spindles in the mower from our rocky yard. Otherwise, I am pleased with our machine and look forward to many more years with it. And when it’s time for a new one? I’ll be back to Cub Cadet.

Great machine, exceeded all expectations!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mower is fantastic. Engine runs great, plenty of power and cuts through thick grass with no problems. Only complaint is that the grass bag attachment has taken forever to ship as it did not ship with the mower. Still haven't received after waiting over a month. The other thing that Cub Cadet should do is include an engine hour meter as standard. After paying this much, I was disappointed that it did not come with one.

Great mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit when we moved here in 2016. Now has 325 hrs and still acts like it's new. I mow about 1 acre about every 4-5 days, and it always get the job done in about an hour. My only "complaint" is that it won't haul a lot without complaining. A very minor issue. Overall, it's been great and, with reasonable care, I expect it to last a long time.

Cub Cadet XT1 LT46
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Cub Cadet after speaking with my neighbor who had one. I got the XT1 with a 46: mower deck. It is just great. It turns on a dime, with the twin motor, has lots of power and is very easy and comfortable to drive. I make a trailer hitch for it and use many attachments with it like, trailers, dethatcher, aerater and so on. I would recommend that model to anyone with any size yard.

Kohler motors… Yes.
I bought this lawn tractor because a couple people that I know highly recommended Cub Cadet. Now I’m one of them too. I always look forward to using it, but it seems I need to take turns between my wife and my son, because they love to use it as much as I do😃

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Cub Cadet XT1 LT46 for 9 years and it is an investment that has saved my life, with mowing my uneven sloped yard that is about 1/2 acre. I was using a self-propelled lawnmower, and it would take over an hour and completely exhausted me. It has extremely dependable. I service my own equipment annually. I truly believe in this tractor and highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few years ago and used it to keep my10 acres fire safe. I live in Lake County, CA. From '08 til '18 there were 5 devastating wild fires. I use my 1964 tractor with a bush hog to cut the high grass, then go over most of it to keep the grass short. A fireman told me the difference between 8" grass and 4" grass is about 6 feet of flame in a 40 mph wind. My Cub Cadet has kept my family safe and the property looking sharp.

Excellent reliable lawnmower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my Cub Cadet XT1LT46 lawnmower in 2016 when we bought a home with a half acre of lawn and ten years later I can say I love it. I purchased it with the lawn bagging accessories and they are easy to install and work great for spring dethatching cleanup and fall leaf cleanup. The chopped fall leaves I collect with my XTI mulching blades are used as my garden mulch. No mechanical issues with it in 10 years of operation.

Cub cadet xt1 46.
I’ll never buy a cub cadet again. Mine hasn’t ran right since year one. I’ve replaced the starter, throttle cable has gone bad, I’ve replaced battery and fuel filter and the thing still won’t run. I’ve got the Kholer 7000 series and it has been a joke since day one.

Perfect for mid to small lawn mowing needs.
