Perfect for hills
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely great on the hills in my yard. I have several 20+ degree slopes and this is the most comfortable I’ve been. Fast and powerful. I’m really happy with the purchase. However, nothing is ever perfect so I have to make at least one criticism. A fuel gauge would be great. We will see how well it does over the years.

Head and shoulders better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the ZTS2 60 from a local dealer. I have been mowing about 2.5 acres with several steep hills and plenty of obstacles with a 50" Cub Cadet lawn tractor. There is no comparison. The ZTS2 mows so much faster and feels rock solid stable while side mowing steep hills. With the tractor, I was used to having to lean very hard uphilll and even then, the upper rear tire would often lose traction. With the ZTS2, I don't even feel the need to lean and have never lost traction. I can even turn uphill while side mowing. Mowing around obstacles is so much easier and faster. My overall mowing time has been cut in half and the process is more comfortable. I was also surprised that despite a larger deck and more powerful engine, the ZTS2 is significantly quieter than my 5 year old tractor. I highly recommend this mower.

I've owned this ZTS2 60 for two years, the steering wheel system is fantastic and that's why I bought it. It cuts the lawn very good without leaving clumps, it also starts easy. However, I had to engineer away several problems. 1. The heavy mower deck is difficult to to remove because it sits on the floor only on the bottoms of the thin sides when the linkages are disconnected, care must be taken to prevent hand and finger injuries. Wheels on rotating arms at each corner corrected this so the deck can roll out wit ease. 2: The ride is very stiff because of no suspension as well as the hard plastic springs at the back of the seat and pivots at the front, small coil springs replaced the plastic springs for a slightly softer ride. 3: The cheaply designed plastic throttle control lasted six months before the metal cable end wore out it's hole and fell out. Instead of replacing with another 6 month of life part, a large aluminum insert was made to fit the handle pocket so the cable end didn't contact plastic. Also, there's no gas gage and none available anywhere that fit.

Sweeet Mow Jammer !!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never liked mowing the lawn before buying my cub cadet ZTS2 60 what a machine... it handles my ditches with ez.... ride is amazingly comfortable...not even comparable to my last 42" zero turn I probably shouldn't mention its brand cuz its a 4 letter word thats red and black and would get stuck if you got within site of an incline.. or ditch... yah finally...why....

Cub Cadet ZTS2 60”

Love the steering wheel, I can go one handed if needed, like while waving to a neighbor and not have the machine turn on a dime on me. Love the wide cut and stability as well. The tilt steering wheel allows for different sized riders in the family to mow comfortably too. And I have two cub cadet dealers close by for service if needed 👍

Awesome mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second 60" zero turn mower with the steering wheel. The old one has13 seasons on it. It's still a rock solid mower. Just needed to run a couple of mowers at the same time. The new one is just as awesome as the old one. Just add a spinner knob to the steering wheel and you'll be impressed with the turning ability.

Piece of crap
I have a 2-year-old ZT 260 it's been in the shop for 3 months this year alone today I'm supposed to be out cutting a couple of yards and the left side stop pulling it's only been out of the shop for 2 weeks now do yourself a favor and go by more from somebody else not a Cub Cadet I thought they was built good and all this but it turns out to be a piece of crap
