The worst bagger ever!
This is the worst bagger made! Constantly clogs with leaves or grass no matter how slow you drive. Complete garbage!

Small Bagger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little disappointed I could not get a triple bagger, since it looks like the same frame that the triple bagger has. The quality seem a bit flimsy side. This maybe a problem with all zero turn baggers, but the bagger sticks out so far out behind you, it tends to get whacked on things as you make a zero turn. I broke the plastic clips that hold the lid down while making a turn and hooking a fence.

Don't believe the trolls
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really reluctant to buy this based on all of the negative Nancy's but this by far exceeded my expectations. Easy to install and the whole system works great for sucking up leaves. Living in Minnesota in fall this is the perfect bagger system. I implore all who read the negative reviews to buy this, install correctly, do not back up to damage the bagger to buy this. So glad I bought this!

Even I haven't tore it up yet!
I've had this bagger for two years now. I run over and hit everything and haven't managed to break it yet! It took me a minute to get use to needing more room to make a turn. I hot the telephone pole with it. I look back and all my stuff is laying in the yard. Oops! I drove back, put it all back on and was on my way! I have hit the Jacuzzi, the chicken coop, the fence and this thing still ain't broke! Now my question to the others complaining about breakage is: did you really just "tap it"? I love this thing! It makes leaf season a breeze! My yard has never looked so good! If I wreck it, I will surely buy another one!
p.s. I installed this myself within a couple of hours. The hardest and most time consuming part for me was getting the weight on the front of the tractor. I finally used a hydraulic jack to get the weights in place and bolted on.

New Bagger attachment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really love our new bagger. Read many reviews and it seemed a split decision but we bought it because we have so many trees with leaves and pine needles. I can see where the bags could easily break when unloading them. I feel like if you take your time you will not have any problems. We have used it a handful of times and not problems so far and we love it.

Twin Rear Bagger for ZT1 42” Zero Turn Mower
Not very difficult to install. Do not tighten anything until completely assembled and adjusted. Works like a charm. Yard looks beautiful. Bags are easy to pull out and empty when full due to hand holds on bottom of bags. Improvement on opening Bagger cover with ease is still needed. Tab on side near hose is the issue. Does not always release easily. Other than that a great working unit.

Easy Install and Works Well
The double bagger was fairly simple to install and works well. However, I noticed that my kit was missing one of the front weight plates which required me to then create my own spacers so the bolt and nuts would align to mount. In addition, the bag size is relatively small, there is 15 inches of clearance between the bag and the ground - I would have thought the bags would be bigger.

Double bagger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased an Xt LT46 mower and bagger. While assembling the bagger I encountered issues that others have mentioned with attaching the hose to the bagger housing. I ended up pulling the hose into place with pliers to get it secured. this past week end while using the mower the hose came off the tube several times. There should be at least tabs on the molded tube so that the hose can be locked onto the tube. A better improvement would to have both the lower and upper sections made from with molded plastic. That would improve the assembly of it by allowing it to have molded tabs that would go into the collection system, and secured with a quarter turn. The lower end of this could then be secured together with clips to prevent it from coming apart. To me a simple design, that their Designers shpuld be able to modify and improved after the same complaint about htis.

Double Bagger is too Fragile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the double bagger when I bought my mower and the combination worked fine for awhile. The plastic cover and sides of the hood over the bags flexed and broke in several places. The assembly is plastic and not very strong. It's not made to last. Mine is now held together with wire and bungy cords.

Nice bagger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was pleasantly surprised. Have heard bad reviews, of mainly cheap plastic and bad design. I think that they may have changed it recently, because the one shipped fits great and seems very durable. This was for a 42” deck. I will say the counterweight brackets were a bit tricky to fit on.

Chute clogs easily
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tends to get clogged easily at the point where the chute attaches to the deck. I have to remove and clear out the debris every time i empty the bags. Also, it tends to fill the far bag, but the near bag is half full...sometimes neither bag is full depending on when tge chute gets clogged

Needs improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a very noticable design flaw in the plastic cover. The metal rod does not have a way to secure it and keep it from sliding out. Maybe club cadet could explore a fix. For the money I thought it was a descent product but frustrating to have to adjust the bar so many times .

Cub Cadet 42" Double Bagger Review....a thumbs up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Double bagger system is relatively easy to install and works well. Components are well made and instructions reasonably clear to follow...if you need them to assist with assembly.
No complaints....other than it would be nice to have larger bags to collect the grass cuttings.

Continuously Gets Clogged
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very poor design. No matter what I’ve tried, the plastic tube gets clogged after only a few passes. I’ve tried going slow, mowing when the grass is bone dry, raising the height of the mower blade, nothing works. This makes this purchase a complete waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the ZT1 42 cub cadet mower with 3/4 of an acre the bagger clean up my yard great picking up leaves, grass, and the ton of acorns this year. It's is easy to use but I would like the bags a little bigger with the way it sucks up everything I need to change it often.

Good Bagger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chute that attaches to the deck in the rear has no steel reinforcing the plastic. Only used it twice now and the plastic is beginning to degrade and the hole is getting bigger. The unit as a whole is great, I’m worried about the rear attachment of the chute though.

Poor quality for the money
I bought this two seasons ago and already need a replacement. Similar to what others have mentioned, the clips broke off during the first season, and I have been holding it on with zip ties. The clip to hold the lid down broke recently, and without a bungee cord, the trimmings fly out the back. This bagger was really expensive, so you would expect a higher level of quality in the materials. I am not an expert in this area, but it seems like the plastic used to clip on and hold the lid down gets brittle when it is cold. I bag leaves in the northern Indiana in the fall, and it will routinely get down to 30 degrees or colder when I use it. Perhaps that is why so many people seem to have the same issue?
One final thought on this point, the bulk of the system (mounting bracket, tube, chute, front weights) are all in great shape still. Given that it seems to be the plastic housing part that is the main issue, perhaps consider selling that piece separately for replacements?

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought this product was going to be a great addition. But it is not. Very huge and bulky. Clogs easily with grass that is a little wet and we all know grass never fully dries out. I have to continuously get off and unclog the tube every 5 minutes.

Design and durability is poor
The grass catcher is not user friendly and design is poor. The catcher has to be added and removed with tools each time it is used. The plastic clear chute does not hold up well and started splitting within 2 years. The price that one has to pay for a catcher does not warrant only 2 year wear.

Hose constantly falls out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hose constantly comes undone from either the top or bottom, blowing grass everywhere and requiring me to stop the mower. The hose they gave me is way too short and also doesn't even screw into the top correctly where it is supposed to.

Love the mower but bagger is constantly broken.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the mower in 2021 with the bagger. The bagging system and it’s cheap plastic is constantly braking. The clips that hold the lid down and the lids hinge system is sub par. It looks like they may have updated it now.

Ease of install and ability to take off not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the clear tube. It is permanent on the machine once you install it and would need to be disassembled to remove it. It is not easy to install or unistall. Grass shoots out all along the front side of the bagger system.

Glogs easy
I purchased my new tractor and bagger in April of this year, I dethatched my yard in May and used the bagger like I would do with my old John Deere and it clogged easily. I phoned Cub Cadet to see if they had any suggestions, the rep responded that he had never heard of the bagger clogging before and he would ask his technical experts and get back to me with in a day, that was May 3 and it is now Aug 3 and I am still waiting. In the mean time I went to a reliable source (youtube) and got my answer. After washing out the tube I applied silicone lubricant to the lower tube and once it was dry tried it out and it worked.
My advise if you live in humid climate where the grass doesn't fully dry then I would think twice about this product also for the fall I would normally use this to pick up the leaves but I have decided to buy a yard sweeper instead.
Also not impressed with the lack of response from the Cub cadet help line, and I would recommend checking out youtube for any problems. Final score Youtube 1 Cub Cadet 0

Bagger doesn’t work yet?
New ZT1 42 inch machine and bagger. The bagger is spraying the clippings out the back and side and only catching a small amount of trimmings. Called tech support and they are sending some self adhesive rubber gasket. Hopefully this resolves the issue. Case # 08808975
