Very disappointed in this Bagger unit (Cheap made)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the $500+ you would think it would not clog up so much and break the corner tabs as easy as it does but It sure does. Hard to believe I wasted over $500 dollars on this thing. Your Mowers are so well made and yet the part I wanted the most is just terrible... I have used this bagger for just part of this season and the Left side cover clip broke off and now I bungie cord it (ghetto) and the seals fall off not secured to the lid (No Glue or adhesive of any type). Last but not least I am off the lawn mower unclogging the pipe just about as much as I am mowing!!!

Very Poor Design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As most reviewers have stated the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The plastic clips that hold the bagger assembly to the frame have broken off, the clasps that hold the lid down have broke (I now have to use a bungie cord to hold it down). The rubber seals have fallen off the lid. I have to take a pair of pliers to sqeeze them back together to hold them in place. The plastic top pieces of the (2) cloth bagger units have also cracked. Very disappointed. Was expecting much more quality from Cub Cadet.

Mower fantastic, bagger not so much
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my new mower and bagger to mow my yard three times now. After half of the second mowing the left side clip on the bagger broke that holds a lid on so I had to find a bungee to hold the lid down otherwise just driving it opens up and the bags fall off. So my review the cup cadet XT1 50inch works great the baggers not so much too much plastic don’t hold up do you opening and closing not worth the $500. The tube has not clogged and the unit seems to work pretty good, if the plastic latches had not broken the second time using it.

Clogging
I have a zero turn 54" that cuts great, however adding the bag is extremely problematic as it clogs very easily. In dry conditions the intake area of the tube consistantly wants to clog. I drive very slow to correct the issue and it helps, I'm just surprised at how slow I have to cut with the bag on which adds an hour to cut time. I've had the mower for two seasons now and the tube has already torn in half, I have over an acre and have no issues cutting at full speed without the bag.

Plastic parts of bagger break quickly.
Love my Ultima XT1 with 50 inch decks. The bagger is terrible. After putting the bagger together I has serious doubts about how long any of the plastic parts would last. I was right. Almost all the clip that hold the lid to the metal tubing broke very quickly. Also the latches that hold the lid closed have snapped off, and like other I'm using bungee cord to secure the lid closed.
Also there are some clogging issues with the tube system, which cause me to mow very slow.....not what you want to do with a fast zero turn mower.
I take extremely good care of all my equipment and expect the mower to last a long time, but there was nothing that I could have done to improve the performance of the bagger. I'm really surprised that Cub Cadet brought this product to market. For the price of this bagger I was expecting MUCH more.

Brittle as can be.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Forth time mowing with the bagger. Barley bumped a tree and the upper part of the bagger fell apart. Upon putting it back together the clip that holds the top down so grass is actually caught in the bags broke off. Frustrated beyond belief. The bottom part of the bagger system is good and the clear tube is good (other then occasional clogging if I go to fast) but the top part of the bagging system is horrible. Cub cadet why did you go so cheap with the upper plastic? Please go back to the chalkboard and make this more durable. Very dissatisfied seeing how it costs almost $600 dollars.

Excellent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is excellent. I was scared looking at all the bad reviews on here, but I didn’t have much of an option, I have a huge lawn in New England with tons of maple and oak trees. Even with a backpack blower it’s too big of a project, I really need mulching bags. Prior to this setup I had a craftsman ride on with a universal double bag setup. This cub cadet unit is WAY better. It never plugs, it’s well made, it was easy to assemble. The see through hose is a huge help. I wish it was a triple bag, but that’s not really a design flaw. I think 600$ is a bit steep, but overall it’s a good product.

Bagger attachment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really wanting to buy a bagger for my zero turn, but it appears that Cub Cadet does not offer one that is of the same high quality and standard their mowers are. Love my lawnmower! No complaints, except for the headlight is basically useless, i would have thought for the price being charged, the bagger would meet expected standards. The consistent reviews point otherwise.
