Product Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Forgettable Very expensive and not durable. Could have been simpler and better designed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Needs a lot of improvement Instructions are poorly written and the included illustrations are not very helpful. It was extremely frustrating to assemble, and I have a lot of experience assembling complex things. The design leaves a lot to be desired. The magnets that hold the bottom of the canopy to the mower don't even reach, despite my best effort to stretch it. Trying to get all of the pipes connected was an exercise in madness. Cub Cadet should improve the installation instructions drastically and should absolutely create an instruction video for this assembly. It was way harder than it needs to be. It should do the trick with regards to keeping me dry. Not impressed with the thin tent fabric they chose to use for the top. They should have used a thicker tarp style material for durability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not recommended The frame is to big for the cover.. rips at the seams, cover way to small by 4 inches at the front and 3 inches at the back.. very bad quality control.. am very disappointed by Cub Cadet

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice cab [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to install. Only ran into one problem. They put the wrong sticker on two parts. After going on line and finding the right orientation of the poles it went together perfectly. I love it because it keeps all the snow off of me while I'm using the snowblower.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very under-designed clips but good otherwise Within the first season of use in 2020, the clips that hold the canopy down to the rear fenders, behind the entrance zippers, cracked in half down the length, rendering them useless. I repaired them with a short length of split PVC tubing, drilled holes and tie wraps, which lasted till this season (2026) and finally failed also. Now my canopy flaps in the wind on the sides, and it takes 2 hands to unzip the entrance, which is very awkward when trying to exit from the inside. Another concern I have with the design is that the opening for the snowblower lift handle is curved, which allows the lower part of the opening to flap down, creating a larger then necessary opening for wind and snow to blow in while snow blowing. The opening could be more simply straight without hindering handle control and would not create an unnecessarily wide opening. Lastly, snow sticks to the front window while snow blowing requiring frequent stops to wipe off the window from the outside. The engine produces enough heat to cause the snow to melt and stick to the window, but not enough to keep it melted off, so it builds up till wiped off. Otherwise, the canopy is pretty good quality, with seams and straps and other clips surviving multiple seasons of usage and storage.
