The good:
This chain saw is extremely quiet
While it runs, it cuts quite well
Does not leak even a drop of bar oil
The Bad:
I bought this in the hopes that battery tools were somewhat comparable to gas. This is simply not the case. This chain saw cuts well for small branches and very small trees. This is not a replacement for a gas chainsaw. This chainsaw works well for 10-15 minutes at the very best and really badly for the last 3-5 minutes. This saw would cut nowhere near 100+ 4x4 posts cub cadet claims.
This is a great chain saw to pull out in a hurry to trim fallen branches but unless my battery is defective, I could never suggest this to anyone in the market for a gas chainsaw. The battery sort of runs out and the last two minutes of battery life leaves the chain saw running/pulsing for 2-3 seconds at a time, pretty much only useful for branches less than 1"
Charging also takes more than 2.5 hours for the battery to reach full capacity, which means in a given day you may get a total of 30-40 minutes of run time over a 6-7 hour period which is just pitiful.
The chain and bar mechanism feel like they are very fragile and would eventually come loose all the time. (They worked fine while I was using it though, so maybe just a perception of flimsyness)
