Great Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a number years and all I can say it is great! For a small engine, it has tons of power. It can cut through really thick tall grass without any issues. It fits nicely in tight areas, in between various landscape obstacles, and I can even put it in the back of my compact size pickup truck Chevrolet colorado. This is truly a great faithful machine and I highly recommend it for those who want a smaller size riding mower.

Absolute Garbage!
Unless you have a billiard table smooth lawn, this machine is not for you. It gets stuck on the slightest of inclines - any dips, forget about it - one wheel will just spin away.
The mulch guard doesn't really fit right, so you're constantly adjusting it so the safety switch will engage to let you start it up.
The shifter drive/reverse selector is in the worst possible place, and the override to be able to backup is maddeningly frustrating- always turning off.
On top of all this, the clutch lasted two seasons, now it's slipping an squealing like a pig on the slightest of inclines.
It would be more satisfying to burn $2500 than to deal with this mower anymore. Once I get the clutch fixed I'm going to sell it or drive it off a cliff after lighting it on fire... But, it will probably get stuck on the way to the cliff and just burn there, making another chore for me to deal with.

Bad Choice to buy
Because I got the mower direct from the manufacture. I could not get support for helping with the parking brake . When put in park it will not stop the mower from moving. When I contacted repair company's they said I had to get the mower to there shop for any warrant work. Or needed to pay to get it there .I should have got it from a dealer instead. Then it would have been right when I got it.

Best mower for my yard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my CC 30 almost ten years ago. Running strong. My property has a lot of obstacles from a pool to greenhouse and garden. Bought direct and I'm happy with the quality. I added the twin bagger and recently the oil drain hose. YOU NEED THIS! I enjoy working on my rider and save money doing basics. I would buy it again.

Electrical issue with the charging system.
There is no voltage regulator on the B&S engine configuration selected by the Cub Cadet engineering team causing electrical issues (smoking/burning of certain components) and battery overcharging (making it die after 1 year) if the tractor is used too often or for too long period.

Love my CC30
