Rated 2 out of 5 by from It cuts grass. But it’s cheap I bought this lawnmower May 31 2019. I purchased from a cub cadet dealer in my city. Salesperson told me it was a twin, it’s a single cylinder. My fault for not checking, but not impressed. Lawnmower was also covered in pollen, again not cub cadets fault. Bring the mower home cut my grass two time for about 1.5 hours each time all is well. Third time, battery drained. Put it on my genius charger and topped the battery off. Started again with no issues. Come outside in my garage and notice a puddle of oil under the lawnmower. ALL the oil drained out from the plastic drain plug on the side of the engine. Upon further inspection it didn’t leak from the cap. It leaked from the metal threaded insert the drain plug attaches too. (To clarify I have the oil drain that you pull out and twist, I have seen several variations). This is a great way to cause catastrophic engine failure and have cub cadet tell you it’s your fault for running the engine with no oil. Not impressed. Topped the oil back up, tightened the plug and continued mowing. Fast forward several weeks to when the machine reached 5 hours. I decided to the a 5 hour oil change to catch any debris floating around from casting the engine. Even though cub cadet says the oil filter will catch it all it’s cheap insurance. Drain the oil from the silly designed drain plug (why not have a extended pipe with a bolt and fabric washer, like every vehicle on the road). All good, go to the other side of the engine to change the oil filter. The thing won’t budge. Had to use a large pair of water pump pliers to even get the filter to turn 1/8 of a turn. Not sure what the filter is torqued at from the factory. I’m thinking about 1500 ft/lbs. FINALLY get the filter off after destroying it. Spin on a new one. All is well. Overall the machine is junk. I wish I didn’t spend nearly 3000 dollars on it. I’m looking forward to the day it dies to get a better machine. But hey, at least it has LED headlights, right cub cadet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tires are very thin So far it is performing fine, but we had a thorn bush that was lying flat on the ground and when we ran over it, it punctured every tire, so I have plugs in every tire now, I thought the material can be a bit more dense or harder then this our last mower never had this is Can I get the Multi Trac C/S tire for this model?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Engineering Issue with oil discharge line I bought this approx. 1 year ago & has less then 28 hrs of operating time, when I went to cut the lawn I found a large pool of oil all over the shed floor. Attached to the motor at the bottom is a rubber hose which is intended to help during a oil change, it had slit open at the bend exiting the motor. Glad I found it as all the oil had drained from the motor. Expensive repair. You would think that it would have been free replacement given the failure is from poor engineering!
