Poor quality
Good mower when it works. Within the first 5 hours took it back to the dealer because of issues running. They replaced the fuel filter. At about 80 hours the deck spindles failed and had all 3 replaced under warranty. Now at 130 hours the drive idler pulleys need to be replaced. Dealer is about an hour each way so I guess I'll replace these myself even though its still under warranty. What will fail next?

Purchased a year ago
I purchased this mower a year ago, overall a good working mower! HOWEVER, quick release blade system is complete GARBAGE, never worked from day 1, and it caused one spindle to fail badly, so i ended up replacing all 3 spindles with the older bolt on system and never had any issues since, the spindle that failed with the quick release the mower was 3 months old with about 70 hours on it. Next issue, the battery that comes with the mower is also garbage lasted 170 hrs on the mower and its done will not hold a charge, battery was tested and charged and it tested bad according to a Cub Cadet dealer. I had to change the battery with a regular battery which works far better then the garbage one from Cub Cadet! These are 2 huge issues Cub Cadet needs to fix, unless a buyer makes these 2 fixes you bought a junk mower, i gave a 3 out of 5 because after these fixes the mower would be one of the best on the market, otherwise all it deserves is a maximum 3 out of 5!

Tough little work horse
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first riding lawn mower. Bought for 1.5 acres of hilly, rough terrain. Tackles hills, ruts, around trees and creek bed; no issues. Very happy with my choice.

I regret purchasing an XT2 SLX50
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I regret spending the extra money to purchase an XT2 SLX50. I purchased this last year at this time. The ride is terrible. I expected something better with the "Upgraded seat" but all I got is arm rests that are in the way. It does not have enough power for the tougher spring grass. I can hardly move in a good stand of grass. The cruise is unusable as it locks in the speed at either too slow or too fast. I find the deck very difficult to clean due to the way it is constructed and the water hose hookup does nothing. One of the tires goes flat intermittently and there is no sign of anything in the tire but the dealer won't do anything about it. It does not have the fast attach blades as was advertised in the literature. I am still trying to get two of the blades off to sharpen. I do not recommend this model at all.

Best tractor I’ve owned so far and it’s fast. The only thing that went is the reverse, the reverse gears are stripped and they said I need a new transmission. But if I don’t use reverse, everything else good. It still works but it’s a crawl (0.2km/h).
But other than that, highly recommend the xt2 50”
