Excellent tractor mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the SLX50 7 years ago with the Cub Cadet fuel injected engine and let me just say that other than general maintenance it has been one tough mower. I mow around 2 acres and it gets it done fast and has always cut smooth. Over 200 hours on the engine and still runs strong and starts right up every time. I have had alot of other brand mowers and this one is by far my favorite, I haven't even changed a belt in 7 years of ownership. Great product and love the features the Cub Cadets have to offer.

400 hours on my cub xt2 lx50 and still mowing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mow around 3 to 4 acres , besides normal wear and tear , belts and put 2 new tires on front, also just replaced drive belt , I mow hills that are way steeper than recommended, I try to just do that for a 20 to 30 mins , anymore and transmission starts going slower , not the lawnmower fault , good mower ,

Great Mower

Great mower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower is a perfect size for my lawn. It pulls my plugger/aerator with ease. The 24hp engine has plenty of power. When mowing I only use half throttle. I purchased the mulching kit and it does a great job. Great product so far. I hope to get years of service out of it.

This thing is amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this mower on 6/22/2026 and it arrived yesterday 6/30/2026. Befor it arrived i had watched many videos on setting it up and in those videos there was a bit of set up like attaching the seat, steering wheel, and part of the hood along with connecting the battery. When it arrived all I had to do is check the oil, connect the battery, put the brush guard on and filled it with fuel. It fired right up and it came right off the pallet. I checked the tire pressure and then checked that the deck was level. Everything was set perfectly from the factory so I went straight to work mowing grass that was 3.5 to 4 feet tall. This thing didn't even slow down or clog. I did have to go back over it for a few stragglers but thats due to the hight of the grass not the mower's fault.the suction the deck creates is second to none. This thing was pulling pine needles out of the grass and gave me a razor sharp cut on my lawn. By far the best yard tool purchase ever! I highly recommend getting the Cub Cadet XT2 SLX50.
