Yes, you need cab cover!
Yes, you need a cab cover unless you want to turn into a snowman! But there is a little design issue with parts L & K. It isn't adequate having these joined with just a set screw, cab can tip down. Hold up the cab in the position you want, and drill right through the nut and both tubes. I put a 1/4" x 2" NC Gr 8 bolt through there with 2 lock washers and nut. Then cab stays in position. Suggest doing this on your drill press. Then, to reduce glare inside the cab, I cut two cardboard shields to direct the light out the window instead of reflecting around the inside of the cab. Now, let it snow!

Cab is well built
Construction of the cab is good, but the plastic windows are ridiculous, you can barely see thru the creases in the plastic. I spent an hour trying to smooth out the windows with a heat gun and made the windows about 25% better. The frame and attachments are not too bad. I am not sure if I will leave it on because of lack of visibility through windows.
