Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mower I love the mower and cannot say enough about the zero turn steering wheel. That said, they need to fix two things. THE KEY! The key gets caught on all the bushes when you cut on the left side of the mower. It will often shut off the mower. It has gotten soo bad that my key has actually bent over sideways. I would recommend either putting something in front of the key to protect it or moving the key to a different location. The aftermarket mulching kit. It is not that easy to install and then is constantly bending into the blades. I have to get a pliers and bend it back out the side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This machine is a beast! I have been using this product for a year and it has been worth every dime I paid. I have roughly 2-3 acres of yard to mow around many obstacles and different terrains. I have trees, other landscaping, steep hills, a pond, you get the picture. I can get my job done in under two hours. Trimming is not necessary on borders but I do it anyways to get a cleaner look. Has two gas tanks so if you run out of gas mid way through, just switch it over and you are good to go. Hills are no issue. Like I said in the title, this machine is a beast. It might be a tad bit overkill for what I actually need but who cares, I save myself so much time with the bigger deck and powerful engine! There is also an area out back of about another acre, and it is very uneven, and I seldomly cut back there with this product with no issues other than I go a tad bit slower because of the length of grass, but it just chews through the grass with ease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece of equipment So just went out and bought this today we bought a house with 2.5 acres of hill. So after researching every type of lawn mower for hills the z force seemed like the best one we originally was going to buy the lower model but decided to get this one for all the upgraded features and man am i glad we did, this thing is nice rides great never felt sketchy while cutting the hill has great steering and the steering wheel makes it easy to control and maneuver around trees. Our grass hasn't been touched all season so you can imagine how high it was and it cut it clean and smooth. My neighbor was cutting his to and his hill isn't as big as mine and he hot his mower stuck and had to pull it out with 4 wheeler while mine kept on cutting. Always thought people were crazy when they said it made cutting grass enjoyable but it really did. So if you have a hill and need a good mower this is the one for you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Free time maker I have had my Cub for one full cutting season and the one thing I can say to sum up my exspereance is it is a "Free time maker". I mow 6 acres, what used to take me 6 hours on the same deck size mower now only takes me 3 1/2. I had no mechanical issues and fuel burn rate is outstanding. I have been thru 3 different brand mowers and the cub cadet will be my go to brand from now on. Thanks for a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nearly awesome machine I read reviews on all the Cub Cadet zero turn mowers before pulling the trigger and buying my 60 inch Z-Force steering wheel mower. I've had numerous lever type zero turns and due to my hilly terrain that I mow, I thought the steering wheel type would be just the answer and would allow me to mow straight paths and perform better on the hills. While the steering wheel does perform excellently on the hills and banks, the problem is with the strength it takes to turn it. The steering wheel is small and the linkage is very stiff. After mowing in any normal size yard and turning numerous times, you are exhausted. It is really hard work. Why hasn't anybody complained in their reviews of the steering wheel Cub Cadets before now? The performance is outstanding and the end result of yard look is great but you pay for it in exhaustion. My dealer greased the zerts on the front when I bought it and I greased them again after my first mowing to make sure he didn't miss something. The next mowing is the same. Stiff as heck. I'm 66 years old, in excellent health, very mechanical but this thing needs to have power steering. THAT would make it a GREAT machine. I love all the other features. I have 5 hours on this machine and it's gotta go. Does anybody know if there's power steering available for these?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Option for hilly terrain I did research at several local riding mower dealers, and one dealer recommended this model because of my steep terrain. Wish it was more fuel efficient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I bought this mower last year for my commercial and residential mowing. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It sticks to hillsides and flies across fields that I mow. This was my first Cub Cadet mower but it won't be my last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from awesome tracter I have 3 summers with this machine. I own 4 acres and mow 2.5. It is very hilly and rocky in spots. My last tractor was not zero turn. Not only has it cut my mowing time by about 30 min. it has cut my trimming time about the same. My last tractor had power sterring and was concerned about this one not, it does take a little effort in tight areas but not a deal breaker. A little bigger sterring wheel would help. With the dual tanks I can mow 3 times before refueling. I have the 54'' deck just because it fits on my 5' wide trailer. I love this tractor, my only slight complaints are I wish the deck had a little more clearance. I have one steep rocky hill that the deck hangs up on. I have to avoid the hill or take it very slow. My other slight complaint would be the top speed. My last tractor would hit 12 m.p.h. which was nice when going from one end of my lot to the other or just hauling things. All-in-all this is a very awesome tractor.
