this bagger is for dry grass if you have moist grass it clogs up I mowed the lawn to day in washington state my grass is nice and green and I could only go to strips before taking off the chute from the deck 20 times cause it gets plugged ridicolous cubcadet need to come up with hopper system so it don't get glogged might as well use my push mower

Much better than previous model!!
This is the second bagger I've purchased for this mower. The first, as everone else has experienced, was horribly deficient. This new model of bagger has remedied those deficiencies (held together with zip ties and bungie cords). While I've only used it for a month, it is obviously a better product. Instead of being made of a few pieces of brittle hard plastic, this new model is made of one piece of rubber type plastic that makes much more sense.
I've only given it 4 stars as the true durability has yet been proven.

Poor quality for the money
I bought this two seasons ago and already need a replacement. Similar to what others have mentioned, the clips broke off during the first season, and I have been holding it on with zip ties. The clip to hold the lid down broke recently, and without a bungee cord, the trimmings fly out the back. This bagger was really expensive, so you would expect a higher level of quality in the materials. I am not an expert in this area, but it seems like the plastic used to clip on and hold the lid down gets brittle when it is cold. I bag leaves in the northern Indiana in the fall, and it will routinely get down to 30 degrees or colder when I use it. Perhaps that is why so many people seem to have the same issue?
One final thought on this point, the bulk of the system (mounting bracket, tube, chute, front weights) are all in great shape still. Given that it seems to be the plastic housing part that is the main issue, perhaps consider selling that piece separately for replacements?

Very Good Double Bagger
I receive this new double bagger 42 inch, and by looking at some reviews mentioning that it clogged easily,I decide to use sandpaper 400 grid inside the lower black plastic tube to remove plastic debris and to have glossy inside, (this to prevent grass to get stuck by those debris), then apply good amount of Silicone inside the black and transparent tube all the way to the top cover, after it dry. The grass was little bit wet,so decide to cut the grass, the result was fantastic, nice clean job, no clogging at all

Happy with the purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unsure about this purchase simply due to some of the poor reviews on it. My neighbor has the same ZT1 42" mower that I have an he purchased one of the baggers first. I used his mower on my lawn and instantly saw what a difference it made with picking up the debris in the yard. I just installed mine and used it yesterday and it worked great! Time will tell on the quality as some have mentioned in previous reviews, but so far I am happy with the purchase.

Works well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works very well, I love that the discharge hose is huge, the only problem is it keeps coming out of the bagger. It basically screws into the bagger housing and if it is not in there just right it will come out and then your blowing grass all over.

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought this product was going to be a great addition. But it is not. Very huge and bulky. Clogs easily with grass that is a little wet and we all know grass never fully dries out. I have to continuously get off and unclog the tube every 5 minutes.

Design and durability is poor
The grass catcher is not user friendly and design is poor. The catcher has to be added and removed with tools each time it is used.The plastic clear chute does not hold up well and started splitting within 2 years. The price that one has to pay for a catcher does not warrant only 2 year wear.

Hose constantly falls out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hose constantly comes undone from either the top or bottom, blowing grass everywhere and requiring me to stop the mower. The hose they gave me is way too short and also doesn't even screw into the top correctly where it is supposed to.

Love the mower but bagger is constantly broken.

Ease of install and ability to take off not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the clear tube. It is permanent on the machine once you install it and would need to be disassembled to remove it. It is not easy to install or unistall. Grass shoots out all along the front side of the bagger system.

Bagger doesn’t work yet?
New ZT1 42 inch machine and bagger. The bagger is spraying the clippings out the back and side and only catching a small amount of trimmings. Called tech support and they are sending some self adhesive rubber gasket. Hopefully this resolves the issue. Case # 08808975

Bagger sucks

Lid Attachment Not Great
Everything about the unit fit together well except for the metal rod that is supposed to hold the lid on the grass bags. It is very difficult to install and slipped out twice already. I have replaced it with 2 short bolt/nuts where it attaches to the metal frame.

Absolutely stay away from this
I bought this and although the mower is powerful and cuts well this grass collection system is horrible. Do not waste your money. The tube gets clogged constantly and you’ll spend more time manually removing grass from the tube than mowing. Absolutely NO!!!!

For the money you would think it would last

42e bagger no go

Poor Quality
I bought my bagger over a year ago. Only use in my small yard so it hasn't been overused. The bagger frames are cracked and the plastic shell has also cracked. For the price I paid I would have expected it to last longer.

Boot attach points are weak

Good mower, flimsy bagger
This bagger broke after 1 season. It is flimsy and grass just flys out the top. I need all new plastic but they don’t sell individual parts. I currently have it duck taped together just try try to use it.

Poor quality
Bought my aero turn last year together with the double bagger. Unfortunately after one season the closing clip fell off, can’t use the badger anymore. The top lid is way too fragile, not good engineered.
