Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works fine for light, dry snow I live in Colorado and purchased my 3X 26" winter 2019-20. I use it on a cement apron in front of the garage and on a long blacktop drive. It throws the powder well, but bogs down when the moisture content of the snow gets higher. Impeller and chute pack easily, and operations must halt to clean out the workings. The machine also goes through shear pins quickly if you ask too much of the augers. Works fine if you take it slowly and don't ask it to work too hard. This is not the beast advertised and needs to be handled carefully. Considering a trade-in for a stronger machine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless in Heavy Wet Snow. I bought in 2021 and was lucky enough to not to get heavy wet snow first two years. But my luck ran out. Many other reviewers have said there is a serious design problem. The accelerators compacts the snow and jams the augers and impeller. It does not even work for few minutes!! Constantly clogging!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Starts easily - part 2 After posting my original review last month I decided to go with my gut and modify the machine. Since the snow gets clogged between the two center augers, I decided to take off the outer auger and see what happens. As luck would have it (not really luck because the older I get the more I dislike winter) we got 3 more inches of snow overnight. The underneath was wet because I spread calcium the night before and I’m sure that would have given me problems like before. It worked great; no clogging and no plowing. To further test it I went over a part of my driveway that I hadn’t previously done because I was tired of going over the same area 2 and 3 times. There was approximately 8 inches of snow in this area and it cleared it nicely. I’ll reserve final judgment on how successful removing the auger was until we get another snow or two. I may have converted my 3X into a 2X, but if it works - who cares.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good purchase [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great so far. Need a real heavy wet snow to hit to say for sure. Moved the lighter stuff with absolute ease.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Breaks shear pins all the time and clogs all the time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Most unreliable machine I've ever owned! This will be my 4th winter with this blower. First time I had it out it broke and I had to drive it 45 miles for warranty work. Second winter the handles for steering started falling apart. Last winter wouldn't start at all. This winter still won't start even after draining and replacing gas. Unreliable all around!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fantastic machine after i did some upgrades owned for 6 years now. first 5 years, i struggled with the throw distance. wet snow kept clogging the chute area. This year i installed impeller pads. It is now a beast with wet snow. never clogs. I have pics of this beast drilling through 42 inches of snow. Also modified the forward speed so 1st gear is about 1/3 the factory speed. and reverse is 3 times faster. please note..i am an engineer, so I know how to modify things.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Invest in shear pins.... Like everyone else says...starts up great, works great on small amounts of powder...but then again, so does a shovel...try to use it on snow that you'd actually want to use a snowblower on and it goes through shear pins like you wouldn't believe. At this point, I can change out a shear pin so quickly that I could probably get myself a spot on a NASCAR pit crew.
