XT2 GX54 D Very nice mower with plenty of power!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice riding mower. We live in NW Arkansas and mow around three acres of mixed clear/wooded ridgetop land with a moderate slope and this mower has had no problem cutting through the varied types of grasses that grow here. The Kohler HD 26hp engine has plenty of power and a crisp throttle response. The mower also has a tight turning radius which is nice for mowing around the base of trees and yard obstacles.
I've used this mower only once but so far, so good. This Cub Cadet mower replaces a 2007 Husqvarna YTH20K46 mower that had 600+ hours on the meter and served us well through the years.

Good mower functionality overall...54-D kohler mod
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mower functiona good overall. Br sure to apply lube to the perks to ensure smooth steering and pulls on the deck. The engine on mine soubds a bit rough/raspy and was told that is how the kohler engines soubd as compared to the kawasaki engines that have a smoother sound. Mower may bog down a bit when hitting thick grass but will get through it. As for maintenance, am gonna make it a practice to chsnge the engine oil in the spring and fall to keep the engine clean so it lasts longer...thats just me though. Overall, good Mower. Seat is also comfy. Thanks for reading...good so far.

Great mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mower. I had bought a Cub Cadet Zero turn with steering wheel. I am one 5 foot tall and had difficulty reaching the pedals without the seat being all the way up and then being to close to the steering wheel. I also felt my other one was too loud. This one is more comfortable for me to use. One thing I would like, it had a cup holder and another compartment. I wish that compartment was bigger so I could safely put my cellphone in it and maybe a strap to keep it from falling out. I world like to be able to have my phone with me by don't feel it would be safe.

Comfortable and Love the Locking Differential!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very steep yard in some places and knew I would need a lawn tractor with locking differential. The very first time I cut my lawn I had to use the locker and I have to say I’m glad I have it! I also love that the XT2 GX54D has a fabricated deck. Also, the chair is surprisingly comfortable. I’m 6’2 and 270lbs and the chair was amazing. It absorbs vibration very well. After an hour of mowing I didn’t feel tingly and numb like I have after using other tractors in the past.

This is a work horse great choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago after my husqvarna frame broke I have 3.5 acres with some slopes and this doesn't back down cut my mowing time in half the cruise control is nice on the long stretches
I have some trees and this gets close with the 16 inch turn radius I recommend this xt2 gx54d haven't got any attachments yet but I plan on it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just took delivery of my new X2 GX54D today and I have to say I was impressed. This is my second cub cadet mower and I am more satisfied with this mower than any I have ever had. I previously had a ZT1 54 which gave me great service but with our terrain we decided a tractor style would work better for us. I tackled areas today that I previously would have used the push mower due to the landscape and the mower did great. Love the power, the differential lock, cruise weight and feel of the machine and the cut quality.

Excellent!
Hands down best bang for the buck. Diff lock changes everything. I cut my hills no chains, no slip! Haters are gonna hate, but don't think tuice about the Cub!

I couldn't be happier with the fabricated deck, The power of this particular Kohler engine, and the frame! Most importantly the frame... Cub Cadet has not lost its way when it comes to reinforced frames! Let's hope that never changes!!!
If you're looking for a true GARDEN TRACTOR, that rarely exists at this price,, look no further!!!!!
