I’ve had the current one for less than a full season and the zipper has already broken away from the shell on multiple spots and today it came apart completely.. The machine cuts great, but a $ 200 bag that needs to be replaced after less than one season is an unacceptable expense.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Zipper is JUNK Original bag on my 33 inch walk behind lasted over 15 years. Finally had to replace it last year when I caught the side and tore a hole in it. Purchased a new replacement bag in June of 2024 and lasted less than a year. Purchased another replacement bag in June of 2025 and lasted less than 1 month. Was able to return it for a new one and received at the end of June. This one lasted less than 2 months. I dump the clippings into a 3 foot high dump cart. I never let bag get over 1/2 full and always cut the grass when its dry to minimize the weight. The ZIPPERS ARE JUNK!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bag is way, way, way to expensive. Cheap zipper! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, zipper broke after only 1 use. I bought this one after the orginal bags zipper broke. Just crazy how expensive this bag is and how cheaply made. Not an exaggeration, one use. Just sad and wont be buying a third one.

I have had my Cub Cadet since 2011 and the mower has been fantastic, however the bag is a different story. the last two bags I purchased did not last one season, the zipper came apart on both. I am going to try one more, hope it lasts more than a season!!!!!
