handle on wrong side
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice snow blade. Needs control handle on right side, not left. exhaust pipe is on left side. Melts the plastic housing on the cable. When housing melts cable, cable will kink. I had to put a heat shield on support tube be exhaust pipe. Ran cable through a pvc tube by heat shield. Replaced one cable already .

Exhaust melts plastic control cable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No complaints with product, except the plastic coated control cable melted on first usage of the plow. Fabricated a shield to protect next one.

OK plow. Had a few issues.
I've had my XT3 GSX for a few years now. I have melted two cables for the plow. The geometry of the plow mount is wrong and when the plow is turned it causes the trailing edge to dig into the ground and the leading edge to be off the ground. I drilled new holes in the bracket and had to removed the pulley on the front in order to fix the geometry. I don't know if they sold me the wrong plow when I bought the tractor if the engineers were high when they designed the plow bracket. The springs are also weak for this application. With the added strength of the frame on the XT3 GSX they could have made the plow more aggressive. The thing flops over if it hits a pebble frozen to the ground.

Angle Adjustment Cable Failure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on my third replacement cable for this. I have invested in heat proof sheathing and tape. I am relieved to see others posting same issue. Reality check. Have installed final replacement. It's somewhere in the garage....
