Good mower…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband wanted a rider to help mow the lawn. This perfect for us. We opted to get the double bagger. It was easy to assemble but most are correct in that the connecting tube is not ideal. Like most purchases, my husband had to make some modifications and now it works great. Here hoping you have a handyman available and happy mowing will be in your future.

It's okay, but ....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The XT-1 replaced a Craftsman LT2000 with a bagger. In comparison, this bagger is much flimsier, it's difficult to release the top to empty and the mesh bags tend to blow out the clippings. The way the bags are attached to the bagger frame makes it a little difficult to remove for emptying. Having nothing else to compare it to, I gave it a 3 star rating.

Great Bagger Option for the Cub Cadet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took us about two mowings to adjust to bagging. We have a large yard, so must stop frequently to empty. We've also decided to mow around noonish, so that we're not working with wet grass. All in all, we love how the yard looks -- no clumps or dead grass to kill the living lawn. Thank you for this bagger -- it has greatly improved the look of our yard!

better than I thought it would be
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleasantly surpised at the performance so far. Its 100 times better than my craftsman piece of junk that I suffered with for years. True to what others have said if you stay away from mowing wet grass you wont have any problems. On the rare occasion the tube got clogged the design of the sleave makes it pretty easy to unclog. No regrets.

Excellent piece of kit - keep checking the level!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent piece of kit - as mentioned by others, it fills up very quickly. However that's a positive as it really does suck up everything presented in front of it.
I had an issue with the main pipe blowing out of the collector, however this was my fault as I hadn't screwed the pipe in all the way... once rectified it's remained in place.

Nice bagging system

I like the fact that the chute can easily be put on or taken off depending on whether I wish to use the bags or not. Nice to be able to flip the cover without having to flip the seat down. Also it is very easy to access the chute in the event of a clog (but that only happens when I over fill the bags)

Probably a design flaw
I've had the tractor/bagger for 1.5 seasons now and I'm finally posting my review. My initial impression wasn't very good (after 2 months), and I'm sad to say it isn't much better now. The tractor itself is fantastic but the bagger isn't. The clips to secure the lid over the bags is difficult to use. You basically have to use both hands on each clip to open it. The seals/gaskets on the lid disappeared after a few uses and when I called the store they told me they don't have seals. They do have seals because I reattached one of them in the first month only for both of them to come off and (I assume) go out with the grass. I could live with these problems as an inconvenience. What gets the 2 stars is the bagger sends most of the grass into the bag but a lot of it comes out from underneath towards the right wheel. So not only am I trying to 'recapture" the clippings by running over the grass again but I'm getting pelted with it at times too. If you want to mow through leaves in the Fall (because it beats raking) you might as well assume you are not going to get those leaves no matter how many times you run over it. Very frustrating. I think that if they had another piece of metal there to act as a shield or reflector it would probably fix the problem but I am not an engineer. Apparently neither is the people that designed it, or at least they designed it without putting into a real life situation. If they had done that they would have known it was an issue. I do like the overall design with the chute sliding off instead of taking it apart in pieces like my last two bagging systems, but the issues I have mentioned far offset what I do like. I would still buy the tractor (LT42) but not the bagger. My last comment is directed to the reviewer who says we must be baboons to not like the bagger - you were incentivized to leave a review, I am not. There is no reason to insult people for an honest opinion just because it is different then yours, especially when it wasn't paid for.

Cub Cadet LT42”
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 70yrs old. We have downsized considerably recently. I had my doubts about purchasing your 42” Cub Cadet, but boy was I surprised with it’s performance. It is a rugged grass eating machine that I plan on keeping for a long time. My only complaint is that it cuts too fast and I do not get to enjoy more riding time.

Grass bag stitching
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I’ve read in other reviews I have found stitching coming undone on my grass bags. They haven’t come undone from the plastic rim but I would expect that to be the next step of its demise. Stay tuned. Also lost both gaskets within the first two mowings. Other than that it all went together great and performs well.

Poor service information

Interestingly the bagger instructions don't match the bagger purchased and the website doesn't have any manuals or videos for the double bagger. The new double bagger replaces the old one which is the 19A30031100 and no information on how to install!

Expected Better
The plastic ring around the top of the bags is flimsy and does not bode well for longevity. The bagger cover is also flimsy plastic and the latches on either side of this cover are annoying to use. I do like the clear tubing, that is if I can keep it clean enough to see through. I love the fact that I do not have to flip the seat to open the bagger cover.

Terrible Product practically useless
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bagger unit may well be the worst piece of equipment I have ever purchased. I have tried it 4 times now, on fairly short, dry grass, and the tube clogs every few minutes and must be manually cleared. My 20 yr. old mower-bagger never clogged under these conditions. The design is clearly flawed.

Not bad but not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a huge fan. I am not saying that I don't care for it at all, I'm just trying to imply that I expected it to be a better working product. When it works it is awesome, but it clogs up super easy and fast, and you will never know until you actually check the bags. I prefer to use it as a leaf sucker.

Better than raking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble, however it lets grass out from the door. The other model does bot have the window, but it seals better. Also, after using it twice, you cannot see through the window. The window was the reason that I purchased this model bagger.
Other than that, it beats raking up an acre if grass.

Impressive Products!

I used a mulching mower before and much debris was left on my lawn that I still had to rake up. I’m very happy with my new riding mower and rear bagger from Club Cadet. I’m a convert for life!

Good bagger

Does have a small capacity, even with two bags fills up quick when you are picking up leaves. Does have the tendency to clog if you do not pay attention to how much you have picked up.

Double Bagger for LX42

Also great for getting rid of leaves on my property. Only negative was box was missing parts but customer service was extremely helpful in getting them shipped to me free of charge and quickly.

Duel bagger missing part.
Received the order but it was missing part# 731-12349 window/follow up call and I was promised it to be sent May 10th/ called 5/30 and was in cue 24 minutes/ answering party could not find the part and transferred me / this put me back in cue for another 31minutes.
I did not get all of the order and it seems this is not CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY.

Love my Double Bagger - It Works Great!

It gives a nice clean cut look to the yard and makes getting rid of the waste more easy. I really like the fact that I can take the side unit apart quickly, so that it fits through my shed door as normal.

Double bagger for 42 and 46 inch mower deck
The double bagger for the 42 and 46 inch mower decks is very easy to assemble and install. I installed on an XT1 with a 46 inch deck. It vacuums up leaves, pine needles and grass with no issue. The clear sight glass becomes useless after the first couple of uses I just look at the bags to how full it is getting. I am very pleased with it

Not what I was hoping for
For the price I paid for this bagger I would have thought the quality would be better. Like others say the lid is very flimsy also everytime I open the lid the rubber gasket offs off, I only used it 3 times if I already lost the gasket. The shoot gets clogged quickly I don't cut grass when its wet and use a high lift blade throttle high.

Breaks easily
Bought at a big box store for my 46” mower. 3rd time out and the plastic clasp is gone off the bagger. Went to the store and pretty much told I’m out of luck. I’ve been keeping it closed with a bungee cord now. For the cost of this item I was hoping it would have been a little sturdier, but then again the store should have done more.

Love this pliw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my walk behind blower i have a fairly long drive way it used to take my about 3 hours with the snowblower now it take maybe a hour if its heavy. I had to put different tires on the mower and chains for heavier snow but works great i even use it to plow our ice rink.

Big disappointment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got a 2021 Cub X2 46 after my beloved 18 year old 2186 wore out Like at least one other reviewer, I was shocked at the terrible quality of the bagging system made for the new mower. I have not used it yet, but am very disappointed with the cheapness of the plastic materials and the overall design. Old bagger: easy to take on and off for cleaning/storing, easy to store and made of metal frames and heavy mesh for bags and super easy to remove attach chute at both ends. New bagger: a real pain to put on and take off, very cheap plastic bag frames and much more difficult to store. Cannot remove shoot from bagger hood without ridiculous effort (manual says its meant to stay on),
which for me is essentially worthless.
Even if it collects well, I still regret the purchase. (To be fair, I never even saw it until the mower was delivered, but I did not think I would have to.) Probably will be my last Cub Cadet.

The price far exceeds the quality and although it works, I have my doubts about for how long. The bagger is flimsy, with the cover requiring care to ensure you can close it without breaking it. The bagels are also to small, but not necessarily a con. Too expensive and not near the quality of the John Deere bagger

Great bagging system!

The bagging system works great to fill to capacity, and empty the filled bags.

Definitely needs redesign

Love it!

Having a couple of acres is difficult to keep looking nice but this makes it so much easier. Assembly and usage is easy-peasy.
