Rear mount weight kit for riding tractors & riding mowers. Recommended for use with snow thrower attachment and dozer/snow blade (sold separately) for additional traction when used in conjunction with optional tire chains. Installation & usage instructions included with package.
- This rear-mounted 60 lb. weight kit adds traction to your riding mower by providing a counterbalance for front-mounted tractor attachments.
- Includes one suitcase weight (approximately 42 lbs.), bracket (18 lbs.) and hardware. Bracket can hold two (additional separately available 42 lb Suitcase Weight) for approximately 144 lbs. of total weight.
- Fits Troy-Bilt, MTD, MTD Gold, Huskee, Bolens, White Outdoor, Yard-man and Yard Machines Riding Mowers, 1999 and After
- Fits Cub Cadet XT1 and XT2 Enduro Series Tractors 2015-After
- Fits Cub Cadet Series 1000 and Series 1500 Lawn Tractors 1999-After

Necessary for Snow Removal
If you are going to blow or plow snow, buy this kit. I would also buy one more weight and add it to the package. Easy to assemble and install. Get chains too.

Worked great in wet icy snow
I have 3 cases. I just plowed about 3 inches of wet snow with about an inch of ice under it. I have a Gt model tractor. We get a lot of wet snow. Do not know if I would try to plow in wet snow over 3 inches. Have not tried. This is my second year with them. I have level ground, so no chains needed. They are easy on, but take two hands to lift.

I may never know...
...how well the weight system I purchased works, but it it mounted exactly and as easily as advertised - that was a treat - problem is, I bought the weights, tire chains, and a cab for my XT1, then I find out the snowblower attachment I did all this for is no longer available. THAT made me unhappy.
