Fast and Thorough
The Z2 is a beast! I just bought a house in the country with about 2 acres of lawn. I thought my weekends would be consumed with lawn care until I found the Cub Cadet. I finish the entire project in less than two hours, and it does a beautiful job. This machine saved my weekends.

mowing with a hollowed shell
pretty bad that all other brands regular mowers have a thicker deck than these. Sounds hollow and loud compared to other mowing decks. Have been unsatisfied since I bought the mowing a year ago and cub cadet doesn't care about the customer. Simply put get another brand mower!

Nice ride and saves time

I bought my ultima zt2 60 a year ago, it leaks oil, the tires don’t get traction on flat ground and the aero force deck could be better. I would advise anyone looking at this ztr to consider other brands. I wish I did

I bought it a year ago. It is already in the shop. The shop says after a month they are still waiting for cub cadet to send them the parts. It is a nice tractor but I wish I had gotten something bigger.

I bought this piece of crap a month ago and it works insanely well if you like mowing a lot. You will mow your lawn about 6 times before your even close to being done. Enjoy mowing for 3 hours every day.

Good mower for what it can do
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the mower in July for my 8 acre property.
Half my property is semi flat or gentle 5 degree inclines.
The mower is great for general cutting on these areas with moderate length grass.
Unfortunately it is awful on any type of incline.
The other half of my property is 10 - 15 degree inclines and the mower does not handle these well at all.
The wheels do not have solid traction and the lack of power in the mower makes it very difficult to turn out of downhill tight areas.
Further, it seems the mower does not have equal traction on the wheels. When trying to turn on an incline in wet grass, the left wheel will sit while the right wheel spins. I have to twist and backup off the incline or maneuver to get any type of "Posi traction" effect out of the steering
Finally, the cuts are not very even. Setting the deck height to 4", I find that If the grass gets a little long, over 7" or so, the blades have a hard time cutting evenly unless I go very very slow. This defeats the purpose of a fast mower.
On reflection, I should have gone with a more commercial grade mower that can handle the terrain. If you live on flat land and cut your grass at least once a week, this is a great mower.
