Armrest fiasco
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this for my ZT1 42” and when it arrived my seat would not support install of this kit.Shame on me for not double checking but since I put my model number in on the website not sure why it directed to me to an option that wouldn’t fit.To make it worse in my view I couldn’t even order a seat to replace the OEM so I could have the armrest option. Seems to me if the competitors can put armrests on their 42” ZT mowers Cub should be able to as well for this $3k mower or at least make the seat to where this arm rest option can be added

No Height Adjustment?

Does not fit ZT-1 54
Does not fit ZT-1 54!! It came recommended when I bought that mower. Cub Cadet does not supply return label for refund! Will cost as much to return as I bought it.

Doesn't fit newer ZT1-50's. Don't buy.
I should have read the reviews. I bought these armrest a week ago. The product description states these armrests fit cub cadet ultima zt1-50. They do not. The reviews before mine are at least over a year old, and the site still says it fits. Cub Cadet fix your website. These clearly do not fit the newer ZT1-50's. The newer models do not have the side plate, must have removed that to save a couple dollars. I can not even find side plates to buy to make these fits. I will probably have to fabricate something. Not impressed.

Armrest kit
I installed this kit on my brand new ZT1 50 but what a mistake. I'm 5'8" tall and my elbows and forearms will not rest on the armrest. I have the control bars set at the lowest possible setting and they still do not work as intended. They make a great resting place for your arms when you're not mowing but useless otherwise. Cub Cadet told me they are not adjustable and I knew that when I bought them. Had to make 4 holes in my seat to install them, otherwise I would have sent them back. It's either looking at 4 holes or armrest that don't work as intended. I think somebody at Cub Cadet could engineer a part that could make these work. I'm not the only one. There are several reviews about the same problem. I would not recommend to anyone shorter than probably 5'10"

should be standard equipment

Yep, should have read the reviews first.
I purchased these arm rests for a ZT1 50 which the description shows will fit this model. Nope, they sure don't. Even worse, I thought I could feel where the bolt hole was located under the seat cover and punctured the cover. Now I'm left with arms rests that don't fit and a seat cover with a hole in it. Talk about disappointment and frustration. Don't purchase these arm rests for a ZT1 50" deck mower and make the same mistake that I did. I can only hope that Cub Cadet makes it right.

No bracket for rm rest.
The new zt1 does not have the bracket for the arm rest. Why do you advertise and sell the arm rest for a mower it does fit on. Maybe a disclaimer that it doesn’t fit on the new mowers would be nice. Also no hour meter, no wash port and no seat springs. Very disappointed in this mower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Website said it’d fit my Ultima ZT-1 50”. Apparently the parts department isn’t in communication with the main office. These did not fit my ZT-1. Apparently Cub Cadet changed the seat design and they hadn’t notified the parts team. Had to return them after I cut a hole in seat cover. Now my shiny new zero turn has a hole in seat cover. Thanks guys!

No bracket on seat to mount to!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just picked up my ZT1 50 yesterday and had purchased the armrests prior to the mower arriving. When I went to install them the seat did not have the bracket to mount the armrests to. Pretty disappointed about that. At this price it should have been included. The same goes for it not having an hour meter on it.

Pointless, not usable in the location they mount.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these at the same time as my ZT1-50, they are way to low to utilize, and very narrow, hit you right at your side, and I'm not that large. Really wish there was a fix for this. Now I have a set of armrest that I have to just push up out of the way because they will not function as designed. Disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my 54, had a hard time trying to feel for the bolt hole through the cover and foam so I got frustrated and sliced it open to only find out there's no mounting plate. Now I have ruined my brand new seat and have a brand new set of arm rests I can't use!. I'm disgusted.

Arm rest not adjustable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After seeing all the reviews on how the arm rests are not adjustable there was one person who did their homework and found out that you could adjust the lap paddles down to bring the arm rests closer and you can ride with your arms resting on arm rests. Great job Cub Cadet.

Armrests do not fit
Just like other reviews on this, there is no plate on the side of the seat. I see a plate on the back with two holes, but this part will not mount to the back plate. I bought the mower on the contingency of being able to buy armrests. If they weren't available I wouldn't have bought the mower.

Doesn’t fit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does not fit my machine. When I picked it up, they withheld the arm rests because they said the ones I ordered didn’t fit, and then I picked up these ones 2 weeks later that were “supposed” to fit, but they do not.

Armrest not compatible with 2023 Ultima ZT1 50 in.
These armrests DO NOT fit with the 2023 Ultima ZT1 50 in. Zero turn mower. They're listed on the accessories sheet included with the mower but they don't fit. The holes on the armrest doesn't line up with the seat. That's why I gave them a low rating.
