Adequate Bagger
Why have a three bagger system when only two bags ever get filled. The third bag closest to the inlet never fills with grass unless you have overfilled the other two and it starts backing up into the third. Also agree with other reviews in the locking mechanism is very poor. Does lock in place but only after fighting with the lid each time to ensure both hook and plastic lock are fixed. Not sure how long it will last before something snaps off.

Plenty of capacity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use the bagger around for the yard around our home which is bermuda grass. Bermuda really likes to be bagged so thatch buildup doesn't impede growth. Around the remainder of the area around the barns and driveway, we leave the bagger attached and remove the bags themselves. In this manner, I am not having to disconnect the chute from the mower deck every week. We have only had the chute plug with grass one time and that was the result of attempting to bag damp grass. Installation was easy with well written instructions.

Do not buy this
I purchased this with my new XT3GSX tractor to replace my almost 20 year old 3184 with a triple bagger that worked great for many years. This new design is awful. Someone must have been bored and figured they would come up with a way to take something that worked well and replace it it a $500 piece of garbage that is only good at taking up space in the shed. Unfortunately I am now stuck with this giant piece of junk that I will never be able to use.

Poor design, hard to install, flimsy
When it works, it works great. It is definitely less prone to clogging the bagger on my previous L series John Deere.....but, when it does clog, its a major operation to unclog it. The upper chute is comprised of what looks like the arms from the 1960's TV serious "Lost In Space". To assemble, you must screw it into the bagger cover counter clockers, which is very awkward. The lower part of the chute that attacheds to the mower deck had to be pried on with a pry bar. All of this is bad enough during initial assembly, but you must go through the same drill when it gets clogs. In addition, the bagger cover hinge rod is incredibly difficult to install. For anyone thinking of buying one of these, the chute going into the bagger cover is NOT as it appears in the pictures.

Worth every penny!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a sweeper, but wanted a bagger off the mowing deck to reduce the volume of waste. Easy to attach and fit perfectly. Very happy with the results...and no leaking! It looked like I drove a vacuum around my yard. Perfect!!

Not very good
Love my Cub Cadet rider. This bagger however, has many issues. Lid doesn't close well. Only two bags fill up. Gets clogged very easily. Doesn't latch onto the deck well and allows clippings to go everywhere. Anyway, I do not recommend whatsoever.

I gave 2 stars because it's better than nothing. Install was easy. Had no trouble. Fitting the chute on was a bit of a pain. When mowing it dosent pick up all the grass regardless of how slow I go. The bag closest to the chute dosent fill unless the other 2 bags are so over full that the grass literally has nowhere else to go. It puts a lot of weights on the one side of the mower which I assume, over time, will cause problems. For the price I wouldnt but it again or recommend it to anyone.

Bad engineering.
I bought the triple bagger and from the start I had nothing but problems. Manual in the box was for the double bagger . went back to dealer to have them print off a copy of the right one. started putting it together and was missing a part. Indicator stickers were on backwards and Name stickers were falling off. Then the top never seemed to fit at all. Couldn't get the long slide pin thru the entire top piece. Got so frustrated I threw it all back in box and never even used it.

Bagger system
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to assemble. Easier to install. It is easily able to be taken off. It should say that somewhere in the instructions or online. But it doesn’t. Works exceptionally. It fills each bag completely, unlike I read on the site reviews, you’ve just got to run the mower long enough. The bag closest to the chute is the last to fill up. Excellent product. Makes chump change out of yard work!

Terrible Design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The triple bagger unit clogs easily, very difficult to remove and unclog and has no indicator to inform you when you’re nearly full. For a 50” deck, there should be a separate blower fan to move clippings rearward into the chute. It’s ok with dry grass or leaves, but is terrible with rich, green grass. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money on this poorly designed system.

Triple Bagger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bagger works Great ! I have quite a bit of lawn and was happy it has three bags. Made two personal modifications to it, bolted on two brackets so that I can still pul my spreader / utility cart without removing the whole assembly. I also attached a piece of carpet onto the back of the liid lip to stop the dust from getting on my back and rear of tractor.

Best Bagger Ever!!
I purchased the triple bagger for my Cub Cadet mower with the fabricated 54” deck. It works awesome! I installed it myself using the instructions provided and had no issues at all. The bagger fills as it should and hasn’t clogged yet despite overfilling the bags a couple times. It’s been a big work saver for me as we get tons of leaves in the fall. I would highly recommend this bagger.

Must Have Triple Bagger!

I do not like to rack leaves, and the triple bagger allows me to pick up the mess with ease. The power of the Cub Cadet along with the bagging capacity make fall clean up easy.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well, on my second cutting. Feels light and cheap but is doing the job really well. Not sure the thin pieces will hold up, my first concern is cooler weather. Some of the closures need to be flexible to latch, I can see these breaking or not closing. Time will tell. It was expensive but works great.

Best Bagger I've ever used!

I had some concerns for mobility, however, it performed with ease with no issues on side slopes or uneven ground. This will save me days of work over the course of the season.

If the chute was 6-8" longer, it would stay together. I would love to discuss this problem from Cub cadet. note: the mower deck is at 3"

Pricey but effective

The third basket rarely fills on its own. Usually just overflow from the other two. I highly recommend. Pricey but definitely worth it.

Cover hinge Rod design inadequate, rework required
Less value delivered than expected with 'rod' rework required after the third mowing. Recommend washers & cotterpins design change for bagger lid 'rod' retention. Got tired of the design as delivered failing to retain the bagger lid properly. The root cause being the rod did not have the means to remain properly retained, with a plastic retention 'stop' not being up to task. Installed stainless washers inboard and outboard of the left side hinge point, and retained with cotter pins. My time in labor to make serviceable a product that didn't deliver for me out of a Very Expensive box was disappointing. Also the Cub Cadet sticker, is well a sticker, through advertising I was under the impression it was a more robust presentation of the Cub Cadet brand, it's a sticker. Bottom line once the kinks were worked out it does the job on getting the grass up, and leaves don't stand a chance against it mated to an XT2, with good vaccum and lift filled the three bags relatively evenly. The bags work better than expected with grab handles on the bottom to aid in dumping.

It’s good. Worthwhile?
The yard looks great when everything works as you’d hope. It clogs quite a bit and clearing the clog is messy and time consuming. Also the lid’s rod needs repositioning after every three or so openings and closings.
