Great little mower
Bought this to replace another brand which literally fell apart after two years. This cuts my lawn beautifully. Have a lot of tight spaces and because of it’s size I have no problems getting into any of the areas. A plus is that it easily fits into my shed for storage. The mulching feature does an excellent job and there’s no clippings to rake up. It was more expensive than some but has proved worth it.

Great Rider
I bought this rider May 2018 just love it. Purchased bagger of which does excellent job of picking up grass and leaves. Mulch plug doesn’t seal well. Handles well, very agile, hydro drive is only way to go. Mower is very powerful cuts high grass with ease. I have no experience with slopes my lawn is relatively flat. Only negative I can see very messy to change oil. Needs extension pipe with spigot.

Great mower, especially good for "big" men.

It's very agile; its mulching function is excellent, and it is easy to get bagging attachment on and off. I'm almost 300 lbs., and this thing works great. I also used it to get rid of all the leaves from my yard last autumn, and it picked them up and mulched them beautifully.

high quality well built machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this 30" rider 3/23/21 from my local dealer expecting to receive it for spring clean up and the dealer said they had eight coming in from his spring order made last fall. I checked with the local dealer every 2 to 3 weeks and they would receive parts of their fall order but not the 30" rider and couldn't tell me when they expected the riders. VERY FRUSTRATING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got my rider on July 12th and was very happy how the dealer handled the transaction and showed me how to operate the rider before loading it up to take home. Very much like how this rider handles and the excellent cut it has. My yard is all flat ground but it is a corner lot with a lot of grass. I have not used the bagger to date but am sure it will work just fine because of the quality of this machine. I'm very happy that I finally got my rider as I'm very much liking it!

Poorly configured pedals
This mower is EXTREMELY difficult to use if you're very short. I bought this mower in 2017 and read a bunch of reviews before I bought it, but none of them mentioned this. But I read an independent review recently that made a point of saying the user might have trouble reaching the pedals if he/she were on the shorter side. I'm 4' 10" and had a lot of trouble using it when it first arrived because the gray safety button under the seat would engage - and cut off the engine - every time I leaned forward to hit the gas or engage the blades. Finally my neighbor across the road, who's an engineer, came over and showed me what the problem was. He gerry rigged a plastic bottle cap under the seat to close the gap a little between the seat and the button, and I also taped a block of Styrofoam to the gas pedal so I could reach it better! This mower came with two different manuals, with a third completely different one online, and NOT ONE of them specifically mentioned the safety button under the seat. I recently had a lot of trouble with stalling and it was because that bottle cap had slipped off!. Now I have to gerry rig something again. I just had it tuned up - it was overdue - and the guy said these mowers are overpriced (as a lot of mowers are). This mower is only available online so you can't go to a store and compare how it's configured with the other mowers. Overall it works pretty well but owning it has been a very frustrating experience!

ease of operation
This machine is a real head turner. No other Cubs of this model in my area. I believe
that not many folks know this type of Cub is available. I put a steering wheel assist
knob on it. One handed steering! As close as you can get to a zero turn at a fraction
of the cost ! This "cute" little mower is also very quiet . Good work, Cub Cadet !

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the easy start and sharp turning. The cutting blade does not always cut the taller weeds and I need to go over them 2 or 3 times. I think it has to do with the pitch of the blade and vacuum of air that lifts the grass up to be cut is almost not existant on this design.

Excellant rider for small yards

Great Rider
I bought this rider a month ago and it is great. Easily fits through my fence gate to my backyard. The 18” turning radius is nice so I can get into tighter spaces. It sure is easier on my knees and hips then the walk-behind mower I’ve been using. Would recommend to anyone who has difficulty mowing there yard with a push mower.

Love This Little Rider!

Only used it 4 times so far, I'AM Happy with, Iam big guy so it might be alittle small for me, but it does the job. I have hills in my yard, so I use a push mower for them. if your yard is flat this mower would be great for you. the reason I bought it is because i have copd arthrities, asthma am 68 years old.

Can you actually look forward to cutting the grass
Older garden tractor variety mower finally gave it up so went shopping for replacement. The CC30H immediately caught my eye. Looked like perfect fit for my half acre yard. First time in the “saddle” proved me right. Easy to start, easy to operate and, does a great job. Grass can’t grow fast enough for me now!

Excellent mower!
After 40 plus yrs of using walk behind mowers I thought it was a good time to to make life a little easier with a rider. I only wish I’d done so several years back. This thing is comfortable and simply does it’s job well. I’ve used it twice now and thus far it’s exceeded my expectations!

This is my first new ridimg mower. It rides like it is rolling on iron wheels. A real bone shaker. The dip stick is hard to remove. The starter key is on the left side. What a pain. The deck rattles even after tightening the mulch cover. The muffler sounds worse than my old Yardman.

I have used it 5 times I would not buy it again, the wheel base is too short, I have slope to my yard and it gets stuck every time I mowe.I have had to put a bar on the foward /reverse paddle for it to work well. I am thinking of selling it and buying something else.

Love mowing the grass.
I bought this model because I just needed to mow a smaller lawn. I enjoy riding because of the hydro static transmission makes it easy to maneuver and engine is very quiet. My neighbor loves it also. He uses it to cuts his lawn and my lawn, when I'm out of town.

Tight Turning Radius
I have used the mower four times with excellent results. Easy to use and a nice even cut. It takes up very little space so I store in my garage. I weigh 270 pounds and that has not been a problem. Changing the oil is a messy job is the only negative I have.

Perfect for my needs

Exactly what I needed.
I have mowed my yard six or seven times since purchase. It has the grass catcher attachment that works perfectly.
Very pleased. No issues. Plenty fast and powerful, cuts great and picks up clippings like a champ. I have named her "Cubbie"

I bought it yesterday and it won’t start all safety switches are pressed blades disengaged gas oil everything n won’t start.im hopping cub cadet gets back to me I am not hating on this lawnmower I am holding I just have a defective one

Great little riding mower
I bought this little rider to replace a 15 year old lawn tractor. This mower is so much easier to maneuver than the tractor, it actually takes me less time to mow. I am well pleased with the quality and performance of the CC 30 H.

Great little mower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much online research, I recently purchased the CC30H. First of all, it is very comfortable to operate. It feels like a limo compared to my previous riding mower. It is also extremely maneuverable with a very tight turning radius. The controls are well laid out and at my age I appreciate the electric start - no more pulling that stupid rope starter! I also enjoy the ease of the hydrostatic transmission with ONE CAVEAT: it does not do well on even slight inclines. Fortunately, my yard is almost totally flat, but one end of the house has a tiny bit of a slope. I am a big guy and when just cutting grass it does OK. However, I also use it to pull a lawn sweeper mostly to pick up fallen leaves and on the slope part the mower is definitely not happy. If you have a hilly yard and/or need to tow something, recommend you buy the geared model, not the hydrostatic. Notwithstanding that one issue, mine has worked flawlessly so far with no mechanical problems. Best of all, the lawn looks great after I mow it.

Was only able to us it for 3 1/2 weeks kept shutting down after 20 minutes of running. Its at a second cadet dealer been there a month haven't heard anything. First dealer I took it too didn't know how to fix it.

Really good everyday mower.
Bought it over 2 months ago, already have had to use it in somewhat thicker than usual cutting situation. Handled it like a champ. Maneuvering is really good. Cleaning is easy. Ride is good. Overall - 5 stars.

Awesome little mower
I bought this because I have allergies anf thought that by sitting on top of the mower I wouldnt get ad much pollen in thd face and it works great, My yard is small and this mower is just the right size.
