Like a tank!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is my second Cub ZT my previous being a 2010 model that i sold to buy the ZT2 50. the comfort is great, the cutting deck finely chops clippings using standard blades, and overall just a great mower. my only complaints are two: constant burning LED "headlights" (no easy way to turn off), and my specific mower does not have external expansion tanks for the drives. i don't understand why the external tanks would be absent for serviceable drives. otherwise 5 stars for my 2.5 acre needs. love it.

Love it, but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this mower, that is why I bought it's . But my opinion has dropped too four stars as I try to sharpen my blades. First, the engineers used a bolt with a 15/16" hex head. Too bad most 1/2" drive socket sets top out at 7/8".
Second, the bolts must have been installed at the factory, or by the dealer, with an impact wrench. Penatrating oil, a 14" Crescent wrench and a rubber mallet won't budge them. I'm going to have to borrow an impact wrench and a 15/16" socket, or maybe buy a 3/4" drive ratchet set...
Third, the manual says to remove the deck to remove the blades. Forget that. I have it on ramps and I am working from underneath. Removing the deck for routine service is ridiculous.
I've never designed a piece of equipment without doing maintenance, at least in my head. I'm calling a fail on this part of the deck design.

ZT2 zero turn

I absolutely love the ZT2 built like a tank and the 23hp Kawasaki motor wow I love the whole package. I looked at others but the Cub was the one believe me take a look you may find that it’s for you too.

Treat yourself, you won't regret it!

This was a fantastic upgrade from my last zero turn, no more digging holes turning corners, best decision yet.

What a Great Machine
I up graded from a JD 120 to the ZT 2 50” this machine is so enjoyable to use it cuts exceptionally well to point there is few clippings. Much more power, better cut a faster pace, very comfortable seat arm rests are just a bonus fuel consumption is pretty close to my old mower.The deck has been built very well this mower has been built very well the sales people at Vehicle Venture in Windsor were very helpful.

Zero traction. Do not buy for Florida yards.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Terrible traction. I am constantly spinning out in my front yard. And you can forget about going up and down a hill with it. It will sit at the bottom and not move. I should have bought another tractor instead. To make this even usable I had to spend another $300 on ATV lug tires just to get traction.

Zt2 50 issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a ZT2 50. Had only 20 hours on top of it and 6 hours underneath cleaning the deck. Sold it at a huge loss just to get rid of it. Was very comfortable and engine was great. Just not a fan of fabricated decks.
