Great, but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this mower for a little over three months. I really love it. I like the pre-fab deck which is stronger, steering feels good, turn radius is 16 degrees, I think, which is fine for me. Rides nice, love the hydrostatic transmission, very easy to get used to. What I don’t like is the seat. It’s open at the lower back & I need that support. I don’t like how sensitive the seat sensor is. If I so much as (phart) the blades stop turning. If I lean over to try & pick something up, motor shuts off. You can apply brake to keep motor running, just not blades. I’m sure the gov over regulates these things so the manufacturers do the best they can w/ the narrow margin they have to work in. It’s just VERY sensitive. I would really like it if Cub Cadet would make a mulch blade for this model. That’s something you’ll want to watch out for - getting the right blade replacements. Just b/c it says “compatible for 50” Cub Cadet” doesn’t mean it’ll fit. Pay close attention to that. I don’t like the accessories being so expensive. Bottom line though, I enjoy this mower w/ its kholer powered engine. I’m tough on mowers & this baby takes it all in, chews it up & spits it out - just watch the video.
