Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Bought this thing a couple of years ago and it was a love - hate relationship from the beginning. Now it is simply a hate thing in which I will buy something different for next winter. The quality of the machine is great and I will be buying another Cub Cadet but it will be a 2 stage as the 3 stage always plugs up horribly in wet or heavy snow. In my experience the auger and front impellor thing do not get along well to work together. Also the blower is probably too small and the chute is way too small of a diameter to get that wet snow through it quickly. This causes the blockages in my opinion. Very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly designed snowblower This is a terrible snowblower. 1- It's underpowered, if the snow level is halfway up the intake chute the engine is labouring so much I have to slow right to a crawl. I could easily handle more snow with my old 2 stage yardman. 2- the augers amd impellers are poorly designed because they don't integrate well....there are too big spaces between the two so snow gets hung up there. Also it plugs up much too easy because of that. 3- it's poorly balanced....I have to push down on the handle bars way too much to lift the front end. 4- the steering assist is useless and requires way too much effort to turn this heavy machine. Sorry, but I'm very disappointed 😞

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Don’t purchase this !!!! I’m a windowed mom. I save up to buy this machine, 3 stage because I live in Innisfil. Since the day purchased it clogs constantly. The only snow it works on is snow I’m able to shovel ! What the use of that. And since purchase (3 years ago) every yet it need servicing. I do everything I’m supposed to, I’ve had a blower before and wish I never got rid of it… but I wanted an “upgrade”. With today’s storm it clogged so much (sheer pins all intact) my neighbour had to use his blower so I could get out….. DONT buy this!!! I’m almost $3000 in the hole. I’m so upset.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible, absolutely trash This thing clogs at the thought of anything wet/heavy. It's such a poor design and is infuriating to use. I cannot express how much of a horrible piece of trash this thing is. Should be illegal to sell this in wet snow areas. There isn't enough wax/spray in the world to keep this thing throwing. Absolutely horrible

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cub Cadet 26 3X Purchased this blower in November 2024, extremely pleased with it. We get harsh winters with a lot of heavy water laden snow and so far it exceeds my expectations. Previously owned a Honda HS928 for 10 years, nice machine, worked great but eventually needed major repairs. To buy a new replacement Honda was very expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome snowblower [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made awesome investment purchasing this snowblower because it's easy to start. Easy-to-use and user-friendly as well. The snowblower has more powerful engine than I expected from this model. It can snow at 50 plus feet and strong powerful track with awesome power steering. It reminds me of the snowblower my father had when I was growing up. I have no problems or complaints but complements about this beast of machine. Keep up the good work!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 3X 28 in 357 cc [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my 3x in 2016. The first time using my 3x I wasn't sure what to expect. I ended up throwing the snow on my neighbor's roof. It does struggle when there is 1 to 2 inches of snow. For that I learned that going in notch 3 helps quite a lot. My only gripe is even in reverse 2 it is slow. Heated grips a plus, power steering a huge plus. We had an 16 storm one year My son needed his driveway cleared. When I arrived he had 1 shovel path from garage to street. He said it took 25 minutes to shovel. It took me less than 5 minutes to clear the same length pass. Driveway was 70 feet by 12, plus a double wide parking spot. The look on his face was disbelief. He went and bought a 357 same as mine but 2 inches narrower. We both now do several driveways and store fronts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage! This machine is a clogging nightmare. Impossible NOT to clogging on any wet heavy snow. Even on powdery snow there is some clogging but on heavy wet snow it will clogging 3, 4,5 times per session. The attached shovel will be your best friend. In addition, I have never gotten the distance they claim, this unit can throw snow. Lucky if you get 6 feet. Flawed design, there are gaps between the impeller and the housing, which fills with snow and impedes the ability to throw any decent distance. I see on YouTube there are impeller kits to fix it but who want to do that on a high end blower? Poor DESIGN The design is totally flawed. The 3X stage is a nightmare. Pushes all the snow into a tiny opening, which fills up with wet snow hence the clogging I've owned lots of Cub Products including my tractor ( which I love) Talked into buying the 3x by the salesman b4cause he said it will move snow faster, better for a gravel driveway. All BS. Cub knows it, all you need to do is see reviews here , on YouTube, etc . The word is out on the 3x series and its not good. My unit is less than 2 years old, has less than 20 hours and I'm looking to get rid of it. Will have to take a loss and trade it in for an Ariens. I don't trust Cub anymore UPSET
